Very Rare Technics RS-B85 Audiophile Tape Deck 3 Heads DBXOne owner, bought new in 1985. This cassette deck is in near mint/mint condition. Recently serviced and greased to prepare for this sale. Belts are good. Very crisp highs.
Made in Japan, this is highly sought after tape deck, reviews commonly compare this unit to the highly sought after Nakamichi "Nak" tape decks. As of this writing, there was only 1 other working one for sale out of Germany.
Includes original operating instructions. Fun fact: Paid $550 for this deck in 1985 which is the equivalent to $1,656 in todays $.
