Photo of Remington-Smoot New Model No. 4, .38 Rim Fire Compact Revolver $1650
$1650
Remington-Smoot New Model No. 4, .38 Rim Fire Compact Revolver $1650
Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional revolver in perfect ready to shoot condition. No PAL required. Reloadable ammo is available and sold separately. Remington-Smoot New Model No. 4, .38 Rim Fire Pocket Revolver. The design of the "New Model" Line of Remington revolvers is based on a patent issued to William S. Smoot in 1873. The four types, No. 1 through 4, are all similar in their use of a two-part frame which is joined just above the grip. This one is the No. 4, which resembles the popular "Bulldogs" of the day. It is in excellent condition with original nickel . The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling. The black hard-rubber grips are very fine and undamaged. SN 21108, excellent overall. History & Background Like Colt, Remington had to get into the cartridge pocket revolver market by sheer public pressure. They, too, like Colt, experienced difficulties trying to compete with the cheap "suicide specials" which were available at that same time. Although sales were brisk at first, and the guns enjoyed great popularity due to their excellent quality, in the long run the public opted for cheap over quality, and by the mid 1880's production of the smaller models was halted. The Smoot patent refers to the spring-loaded cylinder pin / extractor found on the New Model No. 1, 2 and 3. Remington was well known to acquire the patents of other designers and incorporating them into their own line of products, and into the name of the models. Inventors such as Beals, Elliot, Rider and Smoot all contributed to the success of Remington handguns.

Photo of WW2 1943 Canadian/British holster

WW2 1943 Canadian/British holster
Here is a Canadian/British origin and the C broad arrow marking), and cross-referencing the images (including the faint stamping that reads “Z.L.&T. LTD 1943” along with the C broad arrow symbol), this is an original Canadian WWII Pattern 1937 (P37) web pistol holster. Features •  Khaki/tan heavy cotton canvas construction, typical of British/Commonwealth web gear from the era to save on leather due to wartime shortages. •  Flap closure with brass snap (often called a “lift-the-dot” fastener in some variants). •  Brass or metal belt hanger and loops on the back for attachment to P37 web belts or pistol belts. •  Angled design for right-side hip carry, with a reinforced muzzle end. •  Markings: “Z.L.&T. LTD 1943” refers to the manufacturer Zephyr Looms & Textiles Ltd. (Toronto, Canada), a known WWII contractor for Canadian military gear. The “C broad arrow” (often stylized as C↑ or C with an arrow inside) is the Canadian government property/acceptance mark, indicating it was issued for Canadian forces (part of the British Commonwealth system, where the broad arrow denotes ordnance property, and the “C” specifies Canada). This holster was designed primarily for revolvers like the Webley Mk IV .455 or Enfield No. 2 .38, which were standard for Canadian troops early in WWII. However, similar P37 holsters were also used or adapted for the Canadian-made Inglis Browning Hi-Power 9mm pistol (produced from 1944 onward). Original Canadian WWII P37 canvas holsters in good used condition (like this one, with intact hardware and no major tears) typically sell for $150–$350 on sites like eBay, GunsInternational, or militaria forums/auctions. Factors influencing price include: Invasion date1943 date (pre-U.S. entry into the war, during the British Commonwealth’s initial buildup). Clear markings (the C broad arrow and manufacturer stamp add provenance). Condition: This appears solid but field-used, so more toward the $200–$300 range. Recent comparable sales include similar Z.L.&T. Ltd.-made holsters from 1943–1945 fetching $200–$300. Can ship anywhere in Canada Please see my other ads for collectable military accessories.

Photo of John Forbes of Liverpool Sawhandle Smoothbore Adjustable Trigger .62 Calibre Percussion Conversion Fine Antique Dueling Pistol
$4950
John Forbes of Liverpool Sawhandle Smoothbore Adjustable Trigger .62 Calibre Percussion Conversion Fine Antique Dueling Pistol
Howdy Townpost! I have a truly amazing one of a kind piece here for sale. I bought this for myself in the US over a year ago and I had it professionally restored and fully repaired. I am now looking to sell it. John Forbes, of Liverpool, was gunmaker to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, later King George IV. And according to my research made mostly dueling and target pistols, and some small pocket pistols for only 5 years. Those years being 1805-1810. He spelt his name with I or Iohn and later switched the spelling to a J or John based on public records and some of the other examples of his dueling pistols that have sold at auction. That makes this a very rare and finely made pistol. This pistol would have cost a small fortune at the time it was made. Oftentimes dueling pistols come in pairs but it was cheaper to buy just one if they were offered as a single, and should you encounter someone who has insulted your honor and you demand satisfaction from them, they can bring their own pistol to the duel. The engraving is extremely fine, intricate and skilled. It would have taken many dozens of hours to complete and it was all done by hand. The engraving features drums, banners and spears, floral patterns, sunbursts on the base plate and lock, and a pineapple in the front of the trigger guard, which symbolizes wealth and status. Because this gun is a percussion conversion of the original flintlock mechanism the percussion hammer is engraved in a different style by a different engraver in a more simple floral and fish mouth style of engraving with gold inlay. Every screw is engraved to look like a flower and the escutcheons are also each engraved like a wreath. Overall there is a lot of fine detail with some simpler and less detailed later additions on the percussion mechanism and one spot on the side plate. The gun features gold inlay on the hammer which largely worn away. There is silver inlay on the outside of the breach, and a sterling silver wreath styled band wrapped around the base of the grip and a sliver bead front sight. The ramrod tip (which is a replacement) is silver plated brass, so too are the front stock cap near the muzzle, the rod pipe, cross key, and escutcheon around it are too. The grip baseplate is silver plated steel. The workmanship of this pistol is certainly of a quality of gunmaker worthy enough of being the gun maker of the Prince of Wales. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it too.

Chimera PB223 semi automatic magazine fed 223 rifle
NEW TO CANADA The PB-223 is a non restricted semi automatic rifle chambered in 223. Using commonly available Ar15 pattern magazines, this is a must have for someone in the shooting sports. This is a brand new, unfired, in the box rifle. Multiple units/bulk pricing available The rifle has a top picatinny rail for mounting optics. The rifle does not come with sights but with the purchase of this rifle I will give you 40% off any in-stock optic that I sell on townpost or my website (specterarms.ca). The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and comes with a free pepper-pot style muzzle break. But if you prefer the popular S8 or S9 linear compensator, I can sell you one of those for a sale price of $75 (reg $95) The version I sell, has an adjustable stock and pistol grip installed allowing your rifle to comfortably fit all body types. Did I mention it is non-restricted? It not only meets the criteria for a non restricted firearm (as laid out in section 84 of the criminal code), it also has been deemed non-restricted by the RCMP. They even issued it a non-res FRT number. This is NOT the Australian version. Shipping available at actual cost or pick up in SE Edmonton. PAL must be verified before any viewing, purchase or shipping. To verify: I will need your PAL number, date of birth and the email you have on file with the Canada firearms center. Chiappa LA322 TakeDown Lever Action Carbine, 22 lr, 920.383
Chiappa LA322 TakeDown Lever Action Carbine, 22 lr, 920.383 The lever-action 22LR is an American classic. Chiappa continues this legacy by using modern technology and materials to produce the LA322. This beautiful rimfire is as attractive as it is functional. Accurate, quick handling and rapid shooting, the LA322 embodies all the qualities that Americans want in a lever-action rifle. A 3/8in dovetail is machined into the top of the receiver for optics. Another coveted feature is the take down design for easy transport and storage. SKU: 920.383 EAN: 8053670717282 Type of Gun: Rifle Caliber: 22 Long Rifle Action: Lever-Action Barrel Length: 18.5″ (470 mm) Capacity: 15 Feed In: Magazine Tube Trigger System: Single Stock: English Style Wood Forend: English Style Wood Front Sight: Fixed Tunnel Rear Sight: Adjustable Elevation & Windage Buckhorn Style Safety: Half Cock Hammer Weight: 5.52 lbs Length: 35.5″ (902 mm) Material: Alloy Frame / Steel Barrel Finish: Blued Lever Style: Standard Extraction: Auto Ejection FAMILY OWNED – SINCE 1958 – MADE IN ITALY The History A curious nature, a passion for firearms and a love for challenges have always guided our path at Chiappa Firearms. There will always be another challenge to take on and we’ll not be afraid to play the game. The history of Chiappa Firearms began in 1958, when Ezechiele (Oscar) Chiappa opened his company and called it Armi Sport. Initially an artisanal workshop, the company has grown over the years to become an industrial group, still wholly owned by the Chiappa family. Chiappa includes the companies Chiappa Firearms S.r.l. (defense, sporting and replica firearms), KIMAR (blank and signal guns), ACP (training systems), Costa S.r.l. (surface treatment of metals) and Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd. (USA’s distribution center). The success story of the Chiappa derives from a combination of factors, among which are a great technical experience matured over 60 years; ability, the courage and entrepreneurial spirit of the President Rino Chiappa, and the total dedication to work of the whole Chiappa family. These capabilities have lead Chiappa to a series of winning choices, focusing on technological advancement, on understanding and meeting the needs of the market while constantly introducing new models, but also offering accuracy and continued support to customers. All stages of production are carried out entirely within the company. The manufacturing process begins with the design of the 3D model, followed by the realization of prototypes and the transfer of data to CNC machines. Through specific CAM software, the machining equipment is able to produce any component in a very short time taking instructions directly from the 3D drawings. Order and organization are common to all factory departments: the workshop with numerical control machines (CNC) for the processing of components machined from solid steel such as receivers and breeches, or for the realization of all types of stocks and other small parts; manufacturing of barrels; die casting and molding of plastic material; ovens and equipment for heat treatment; surface treatment, such as bluing, parkerizing, nickel plating, as well as equipment for grinding and polishing of metal and wood components. The entire manufacturing process is managed and coordinated by a computer system that encompasses all steps of production. This system allows for a thorough control of the execution time, thus keeping production costs tightly monitored. Finally, all firearms are visually inspected and test fired in the shooting range built inside the company before being brought to the packaging area. Thanks to the experience of the personnel, the tradition of artisan craftsmanship cohabits with a modern organization within the same factory, fostering maximum efficiency. Chiappa manufactures a wide range of models. The catalog includes replicas of American historic weapons and muzzleloaders, lever action shotguns and rifles, handguns and rifles in .17 and .22 rimfire, sporting and self defense handguns such as the famous Rhino, signal guns and air guns. As a direct result of the optimization of the manufacturing process, all Chiappa products are an excellent value. Chiappa today is a rapidly developing, constantly evolving corporation. The great capacity to innovate with flexibility and dynamism, the wide range of products and the excellent value for the consumer have allowed Chiappa to spread sales in 60 countries, being fully able to compete with the biggest companies in the world.

Vector Optics Solar augmented reflex sights
Many survivialists, competition shooters and outdoorsmen fear it... a dead battery in their reflex sight. While some have opted to make compromises and surrender the speed of a reflex sight for the comfort of something less effective, Vector Optics is poised to change all of that will the introduction of the various Solar Augmented sights. They still require a battery but will draw power from ambient light to prolong that battery life. All versions sold by Specter Arms are multi reticle, with minimal weight or bulk while preserving the main reason to get a reflex sight; speed. All of these units can be mounted on a picatinny rail. _____________________ Vector Optics Scrapper (SM45) $80 (sale) This is a closed, tube style optic. It comes with 2 different mount heights, one for modern sporting rifle where the comb of the stock and the mounting plane are on the same level or a low profile mount for traditionally stocked firearms such as lever actions. Caliber Range (max): 20ga, 762x39mm. Ideal For: Shotguns, SKS, FX9, Scorpion, Raven, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor, APC, Bren _____________________ Vector Optics Frenzy-X $250 This is an open micro reflex sight that is easily mountable to a pistol or a traditionally stocked firearm where the comb is lower than the mounting plane. It can be used with a modern sporting rifle with the addition of a riser. This is strongly recommended as a sight for 45-70 lever actions. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 45-70.
