This is an early, pre-1893, Belgian-made Swedish model, before Nagant transferred production to Husqvarna. It is in excellent condition throughout, with the original blue intact. The nitre-blue colors on the loading gate spring, hammer and trigger are excellent. The action is crisp and strong, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly, without play. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and mirror bright, with sharp rifling and no signs of pitting or wear. The walnut grips are excellent and undamaged, and show only a little wear on the right side. Pre-1893 Belgian proofs, SN 1827, rated excellent overall.

Howdy Townpost. This is a fine English pocket or coat pistol made by Hollis and Sheath company which is the precursor to Hollis and Sons or Isaac Hollis and Sons. Wallace and sheath became Hollis and Sons in 1861 when Isaac Brentnall Sheath left the company to immigrate to Canterbury, Australia and raised sheep and owned coal mines in an area that is now a suburb of Melbourne. His gun making days were behind him, he'd become an industrialist down undah. Sheath & Hollis co-founded the company in 1849 and Sheath stayed with the company until as previously stated, 1861. That dates this firearm between 1849 and 1861. This is a single shot side hammer lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. The gun is mechanically excellent. The bore condition is very good, there is some minor shallow pitting but overall the rifling is very sharp and clean and shiny. The overall exterior condition of the metal and wood is in excellent shape the diamond checkering are sharp and defined. The powder chamber has only minor pitting as pictured and was cleaned out internally. For a defensive coat pistol, the sights are excellent and easy to pick up and with a rifled bore in good condition I expect this pistol could be fired very accurately. To shoot this gun I would use 3F powder. Both number 10 and 11 caps fit the nipple reasonably well. A 40 caliber lead ball would be ideal as a projectile but you could definitely use .375 caliber balls with a patch no problem in my opinion. I haven't tried it myself though. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

This one is in excellent condition. The nitre blue on the trigger and hammer is well visible and retains 95% of original blued finish. The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with zero play on trigger pull. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and mirror bright with perfect strong rifling. The markings are sharp and defined throughout. Extractor working as it should. The assembly numbers on the cylinder, crane and frame. It would take almost ten years for Colt executives to give the green light to manufacture this gun, and once it was available, the US government quickly took notice and ordered several thousand for the Navy. Colt adopted the name "New Navy" in honor of this order. The gun has an interesting counter-clockwise cylinder rotation and a locking mechanism which relies entirely on the two-pronged hand.The 1889 model would remain in production for 18 years, with significant improvements in 1892, 94, 95, 96, 1901 and 1903. The this one was checked and tested for smokeless powder by gunsmith. This one was professionally modified to accept 45auto rim and .45ACP cartridges on a moon clip and also can be used with original .455 Webley ammo. The gun is in like new condition with everything tight and working like a Swiss clock and plenty of the original blue remaining. The action is accurate strong and very smooth. The cylinder indexes and locks properly without play. The bore of the 4-inch barrel is good and mirror bright, with sharp rifling. The grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 30929, very fine overall. History & Background Philip Webley & Son began making top break, hinged revolvers as early as 1880, with the Charles Pryse patented design they acquired for use on their Webley-Pryse revolvers. Soon thereafter an improved locking mechanism by Michael Kaufmann produced the Webley-Kaufmann design, followed by Webley's own improved "Government" model, or "WG". It was not until 1887, when the British military hoped to replace the Enfield revolver that the first "Mark" revolver model was introduced. The Mk I was soon followed by the MkII (1894), then III (1897), and eventually as many as six variations were made, between 1887 and 1949. The Webley top break "Mark" revolvers were probably the single most widely used side arm in the world, and were still in service as late as the 1970’s.

This is a Budapest M95 steyr (mannlicher) rifle chambered in 8x56r. It is an arsenal force match SN 5988H. Straight pull bolt action, 5rd clip fed (1clip included with rifle). History: prior to WWII the 1895 mannlicher rifles were cut down to carbine length and rechambered from 8x50r black powder to the more powerful 8x56r smokeless cartridge which is indicated by the “S” on the barrel and score line on receiver and barrel. There is a few variations of these rifles most commonly having the “M95” engraved on the receiver with a “steyr” or in this rifle’s case “Budapest”

It is a reproduction of the extremely rare Remington Rider Single Shot Derringer pistol of which only about 200 were produced 1860–1863. Small pistols suitable for indoor practice were called parlor pistols. The pistol is of steel construction, available with polished white or case hardened finish. Like the original, the pistol fires a .17″ (4.5mm) ball or pellet using only a percussion cap and no powder charge needed but can be added for different power levels. To fire it, shooters place a ball into the breech plug small tube (which is capped) inserted against the barrel. The hammer fires a # 11 or 10 cap, which expels the ball. Up for sale is an Investarm Hawken .58 calibre percussion muzzleloader, serial number dates it 2002. Made in Italy imported by Cabela’s, Sidney NE. This is a classic Hawken-style black-powder rifle featuring an octagonal barrel, brass hardware, walnut stock, double-set triggers, and traditional percussion ignition. Rifle is in great condition aside from missing ram rod and small scratches on the butt plate. I personally have not fired this rifle.  Asking $400 OBO  Thanks for looking.

This is an excellent single action Smith & Wesson New. Model 3 in .44 Russian. This is an early production pistol as noted by the 4 digit serial number. This pistol is in superior condition given its age. The mechanics are excellent and the bore and chamber, though showing the typical evidence of black powder use, are in extremely good condition with strong rifling. Some original blue remains in protected areas with the balance faded to a very nice patina. It comes with a rare and highly collectible H.H. Heiser 3 loop antique holster which is probably not as old as the pistol itself. Overall, a highly collectible and desirable pistol. As with all antiques, no PAL or registration is required.
