French Model 1892 Service Revolver in 8mm lebel caliber, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Very well built and robust . Fiocchi manufacturers modern 8mm ammo as well. The action functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are very good. Lanyard ring is undamaged. The gun is in excellent condition, with 99% of the arsenal blue intact. There is no surface pitting. The markings are sharp and complete. The action is tight and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright. The rifling is sharp and uninterrupted. The walnut grips are very good and undamaged, showing no wear. SN G10123, dated 1897. NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.
