Howdy Townpost. This is a nice little and fair conditioned pocket tip-up revolver, in .30 Rimfire. In the 19th century, XXX was used denote very strong malt liquor. So I think marlin was trying to market in the name that this is a stout little gun. Similarly done by Hopkins & Allen with the naming of their "XL" series of pocket revolvers. These were made by Marlin from 1873-1887 with a total of roughly 26,000 being made. They are essentially copies of the Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2's and 2's. The mechanical condition of this firearm is excellent. The hammer and cylinder function reliably and as intended. Timing and lock up are excellent. The barrel is tight on the frame. This revolver was tuned by my gunsmith too. The bore is worn but there's some life left in it. There's frosting at the front of the cylinder and the forcing cone. The nickel is mostly present on the frame and the beautiful original rosewood grips are in excellent shape. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Howdy Townpost. I scavenged some parts for my own Type 99 and this is what is left that I don't need. The guard is pitted and rough shape on the outside. The rust was cleaned off but the pits remain. It's still perfectly functional and the internals are in actually decent shape. The part is located in SW Calgary and can be picked up anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide at buyer's expense. Shipping within my region will cost $13-15, and nationwide elsewhere is $17.84 flat rate.

Selling/trading an antique pinfire revolver. Overall it's in fair shape and will require work and parts to be functional. Antique status, no PAL required, just proof of age. Appears to be Belgian in 9mm Pinfire. 3" octagon barrel, 6 shot. Steel shows light pits and rust throughout. Grips are in nice shape. Indexes in both double and single action but the hammer doesn't always cock in double action (cylinder still rotates). Bore is in rough shape with no rifling left. Missing extraction rod, has play between the cylinder and frame. Would be best as a wall hanger or for parts. Looking for $350 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Coleman 200cc mini bike, hardly used, bought at Princess Auto for $975 3 yrs ago, maybe 20 hrs max, tires still have nubs on, our youngest kid is 16yrs old and 170lbs, bike does not go fast enough for him( it is still governed). Had to weld headlight clamp on as we were on a rough road and it shook loose, chain was rubbing on cover for a while before I caught it, only partially rubbed in it from the inside, is good now.Tires have never went flat.
