Bottom Cooey Model 82 was a single shot bolt-action .22 caliber target rifle intended for use in training Canadian Army and RCAF cadets during WWII. This Military Cooey Model 82 trainer from WW2 was used for drilling purposes, target shooting, Home Guard and Cadet training.There is a Stock Number and C broad arrow on the bottom of the pistol grip and a crest on the top of the receiver. The bolt also has the C broad arrow. Nice walnut stock with minor marks on the stock as can be expected on a training rifle. This rifle does not have a peep sight and was used as a training rifle for the Lee En-field No 1's. Bluing is very good bore is excellent. Comes with web sling $500.00.

The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”.
