Licensed Practical Nurse Specific Skills Monitor established care plans for residents; Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families; Administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects; Take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, monitor nutritional intake and conduct specimen collection as required; Provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice, to residents based on assessment and care planning procedures; Monitor residents progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team. This position is required to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. On Call availability is required.
