These congratulatory messages are very rare because a 50th anniversary is a rare life milestone, paper documents degrade over the decades and congratulatory Nazi messages would often have been discarded after the fall of the regime. The German text reads: "I send you and your wife my warmest congratulations on the rare occasion of your golden wedding anniversary. I hope and wish that you may enjoy a long and untroubled retirement surrounded by your family. The Führer, Adolf Hitler." The Nazi eagle emblem and words "GOLDENEN HOCHZEIT" are rendered in gold ink and the Nazi eagle seal in the bottom left of the document is pressed into the paper. There are currently two listed for sale. Legacy Collectables $1250 US and Gettysburg Museum $1599 US (with a few extra paper documents). I prefer to keep these heirlooms in Canada, hence the pricing. This Henry Golden Boy is chambered in the powerful .44 magnum with a 20" Hexagon Barrel. A classic Beauty. I have not had time to fire this one personally, they are a lot of fun. Brass is good shape for it's age. It would probably polish up even nicer, I like to leave the honest patina on them. The wood is very, very good. I don't think the previous owner shot it much, looks like a safe queen. Henry does not list this particular model on their website. Bore is good, could use a good cleaning.
