Swiss M1882 Service Revolver, 7.5mm Swiss Ordnance This is a very well made revolver, based on the Chamelot & Devigne and Nagant designs, modified by Swiss firearms designer Rudolf Schmidt. The gun utilized George Abatis' unique safety which disconnects the hammer from the trigger when the loading gate is open. This allows the shooter to advance the cylinder using the trigger to quickly load or unload the chambers. The gun is in excellent condition, with 99% of the blue intact. The straw colors on the hammer and trigger are still well visible. The action is crisp and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with zero play. The bore of the 4 1/2inch barrel is good with sharp rifling. The barrel was replaced by arsenal with newer one dated 1902 but it doesn't affect antique status of the gun. Matching serial numbers and assembly numbers. The gun is chambered for the 7.5mm Swiss Ordnance cartridge, but shooters in Switzerland frequently use the .32 S&W Long cartridge instead. Excellent overall. History & Background Swiss M1882 military revolvers are fairly scarce on the Canadian antique market. Although the arsenal at Bern produced over 37,000 pieces between 1883 and 1937, only those with a serial number below 7508 are considered antique in Canada. The M1882 was produced by both the SIG Neuhausen and the Bern factories for military use and private sale. Specimens with a serial number below approximately 20,000 were fitted with plastic grips bearing the Swiss cross. Later models would be fitted with plain wooden grips. The M1882 saw a slight re-design in the 1920’s and was re-named the model 82/29. The M1882 was in service from 1883 until the 1970’s and was carried by military, police, border patrol and home guard forces. These Swiss revolvers are usually in extremely fine condition when sold on the antique market. This can be attributed to the following two facts: firstly, Switzerland has not been involved in a war since 1847, its last armed conflict, a short-lived civil war. The second reason for the fine condition is the Swiss government’s policy to allow soldiers leaving the service to keep their side arms. Given this opportunity, most soldiers were careful to maintain and protect their guns more diligently than if it had been just an issued piece to be returned to the arsenal. The Swiss Ordonanzrevolver of 1882 is chambered for the 7.5 Swiss Ordnance cartridge, but in Switzerland the .32 S&W Long is commonly used, as it is more readily available. ​

The Dad (Wolfdog) is the most gentle chill dog ever, and the mom is extremely good with kids and people. They will display Dog and Wolf behavior, but mostly dog. The genetics will be 50% Kangal 13% Border Collie 12% Alaskan Malamute 12% Australian Shepherd 10.5% Gray Wolf 2.5% German Shepherd The dad also has an Embark DNA test done. The breeds in the mix aren’t just random or happened by chance, but the Wolfdog lineage has been selectively bred for 50+ years. The breeds in the mix are for a purpose that would create an ultimate off-grid or country dog, that is loyal, strong, resilient to weather, will protect their family, are able to pull and do sledding, take out Coyotes and defend against Bears or Cougars, and be a companion and family dog. These canines will be able to withstand cold winters and hot summers. They will be good with people and in public, but will be able to let you know if anyone comes on your land, and also be able to take out Coyotes if need be. High and Mid content Wolfdogs aren’t protection type dogs, but Kangals are good for that; though they are very good with kids and people, they will alert you to if they sense anything, and if need be (if a bear or cougar came along) will protect you with their life. Kangals are excellent with children and have a long lifespan for a large breed; 12-14 years. Wolfdogs also have a long lifespan, and Collies, Aussies. 15-16 years. Not only are Kangals large and tall, but they are agile, and have very few health problems. They have been used for thousands of years to guard livestock and as wilderness companions. These pups will have a low coefficient of inbreeding, with good genetic diversity. This is an extremely rare mix. It probably hasn’t been done before with the above breeds all mixed and the percentages of each breed. This will also be the only litter between these two dogs. I have a family tree with pictures of the lineage all the way back to 1993 The pups will have good traits from all these breeds, and be more trainable, have recall, and not shy of crowds like some Wolves. (They are only 10.5% so will act like a dog). But they will be able to withstand the winters better, and have a greater genetic diversity, and be more robust than the dog breeds. The parents temperaments are amazing. The dad is very calm, loves cuddles, and won’t run away like many Wolfdogs. He has recall and will listen. He is extremely gentle and has no prey drive or resource guarding at all. Better than a doggy dog. The mother is a calm demeanoured dog that is super loving to her humans, is great with all people. She is good indoors, outdoors, and loves laying and walking with her family. She will protect her family with barking if she senses danger from dogs, Coyotes, or sketchy people that come on to the land. She is a sensitive female and submits to her family, and she is gentle with all people in public. Very stable and calm. She is intuitive, and is gentle with people. She is a sweet girl, and would guard her family if it were the last resort. Both parents have a extremely deep bark. So it’s good to have them around if you are hiking. Her male pups will probably have a deeper bark than both. Most people want to own a high content because of the way they look. But don’t know or have what they need. These ones are easy to raise, can be taken with you places and are like a dog, but have a little bit of Wolf in them that helps with their health. But when you get a Wolfdog, more people out of the general population, of the people who have a good setup or yard, would like the owning of a low content such as this litter. This is because you can take them far more places, they don’t need as much meat in their diet, not expensive, are outgoing, don’t need as much of a huge and expensive enclosure as a High content, they are more trainable and good to live indoors or outdoors, and can be pad trained easily; which high contents do better living outdoors. These parents both do great indoors. Will fall asleep with you on the couch. They will do good in a home and family, that will do training and take them on walks, and will have a yard for them. His name is Kato, and he is DNA tested at 73% Gray Wolf, 27% Alaskan Malamute. He is cleared of any of the 273 health problems Embark tests for. The mother of these pups; the female that will be bred to Kato, is a selectively bred mix that I have worked on for years. This canine mix combines the strongest, fastest, smartest, most obedient dog breeds on Earth. In the DNA are the largest, tallest, and best livestock guardian breeds that have the least health problems. She is also a true micro content Wolfdog. These dogs are at the top echelon of their specialties in the dog world. My animals are DNA breed and health tested with the most accurate test out there, Embark, that screens for hereditary diseases and accurately pinpoints the breeds in the dog, the alleles, finds relatives, and has descriptive information pertaining to your dog. These will be massive Wolfdogs. They have had very very chill ancestors for Wolfdogs; I bring them in public all the time. While each pup comes out different, the genetic lineage of these puppies is insanely outgoing for Wolfdogs. Good in public; and not shy. Also, my lineage doesn’t have escape artists in its recent lineage which could save you a headache, as some Wolfdogs are set on escaping. I’m not even being biased but legitimately, from a genetic standpoint they will be the most enhanced genetic specimens of Wolfdogs on Earth. The prior generation of males in their owners homes have males at 31.5 inches at the shoulder and 135lbs, and others that are 140-150lbs and 33 inches at the shoulder. Each generation has gotten bigger. Though Kato is 29”, his pups should definitely be over 30” with this lineage integrated. Females will be smaller, likely around 85-120lbs depending on the individual. Kato is insanely rare, as his Coefficient of inbreeding (COI) is 1% DNA tested… 1/20th that of the average dog. Another thing; he is legitimately a true F1; almost unheard of in Arctic Wolfdogs, as is the same with his COI. What is also super rare about him is that he presents only two breeds in his genetic make up. Whereas 99% of Wolfdogs have more than two breeds, consisting of some assortment of Gray Wolf, German Shepherd, Malamute, and Husky. These dogs would make great survival dogs and companions, sled dogs, or predator deterrents. They are probably the strongest variety of Wolfdog out there as well. I bred them for prepper purposes. They are legal in western Canadian provinces, and many states in the USA. In some countries internationally Wolfdogs are also legal, such as France, Italy, and Mexico.
