British Pattern 1853 socket bayonet with leather scabbard This is a British M1853 Socket Bayonet for use with the Enfield, Snider, Martini rifles. This 1853 pattern was the standard bayonet carried by nearly every British infantryman of the mid-19th century and widely used during the Crimean War, Indian Mutiny, and in numerous colonial campaigns. Production of the1853 pattern socket bayonet continued throughout the life of the Enfield Muzzleloader and the Snider rifle and was finally terminated in 1875. The blade has a slight downward curve to allow easier reloading while fixed to the muzzle-loading Enfield rifle. Measuring 44 cm (17 inches), it features a triangular cross-section with fullers on all three sides, tapering to a narrow, down-turned point. The blade is in good solid condition but is badly tarnished. The scabbard is in fair condition. The bottom brass below the frog hook is pulled free from the leather scabbard. The brass tip on the scabbard wiggles a bit but is still solidly attached. The stitching on the scabbard in the last 3 ½” above the end cap is partially missing but the scabbard is solid and not separating. The scabbard is stamped W.D. (War Department) below the frog stud with the Broad Arrow symbol above the initials. This stamping is difficult to see. The top of the blade at the base is stamped with an E over a crown over the number 25 Overall Length – with blade in scabbard - 21 3/8” Length of Bayonet – 20 3/4” Length of Grip including the Guard – 3 5/8” Blade Length – 17 1/8” $100.00 Thanks, Phil

Comes from a smoke/pet free home. Has leather sleeves and sides. Pockets on each side. The fur is beautiful and very soft. Size would be extra large. No rips, tears, stains or missing closures (one closure needs to be resewn) . You can see the grain of the beaver pelts which is very unique. Pictures don't show the true beauty of this jacket. For sale is a beautiful antique Union Jack No3 made by Hood Firearms in the mid to late 1870's and 80's. This is a 5 shot pocket pistol chambered in 32rf with factory engraving and Ivory or bone grip. The original finish has turned to a rather appealing patina. Comes with the display box. Originally purchased by me as a project, I have found that I have not been dedicating the rime to it and have decided to pass it on. I have shot it as seen in the videos but do not recommend it as a shooter without someone doing more tinkering. Mechanically the cylinder rotates but does not always lockup without help. Once locked up there is a little play but not severe. The trigger is really stiff and half cock doesn't work meaning you need to manually hold the hammer while loading and unloading. If you have these toys growing up as a kid, it’s amazing to think that this set has survived over the years. This comes with a rocket launcher before rockets a light. A tent and a sleeping bag. This also comes with the marine set that was issued. This is the scuba tank goggles and hoses with flippers. Cannot guarantee its completeness. There is a few small boat broken pieces. Tripod in jeep is broken. There’s a plastic piece broken from the rear tailgate, but the tailgate does stay shut when latches are closed. Frank Wesson Single-Shot Pistol, .32 RF Short/Long RARE Frank Wesson, elder brother to Daniel Baird Wesson of S&W fame was an accomplished gunmaker when Daniel was still a boy. The two younger Wessons would apprentice with their oldest brother Edwin, and learn much of their expertise from this talented and versatile master. Frank would move to California in the 1850's, probably lured by the opportunities presented by the gold rush, making and repairing guns for the local needs. By 1859 he had moved back to Worceater where he set up shop in his own name. Frank is best known for his fine rifles, "bicycle rifles", deringers and single-shot pistols. Frank Wesson never ventured into the revolver market until he had partnered with his nephew Gilbert Harrington to form Wesson & Harrington. The revolver making business continued to evolve as Wesson & Harrington first, and then Harrington & Richardson.​ This is Frank Wesson's "medium frame" single-shot pistol, chambered in .32 rim fire. It is in excellent condition, with original blue. The little lever on the bottom of the frame releases the barrel lock when the hammer is in the safety position, and the barrel snaps open as it should. It will not open if the hammer is down, or fully cocked. The bore of the3 5/8 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling. The rosewood grips are very fine. This is an early model of the first variant, of which only about 1000 were ever made. SN 54, excellent overall.
