This is an original U.S. WWII-era M15 Rifle Grenade Launcher Sight mounting plate, (also referred to as the M15 sight or grenade launching sight), complete with its accompanying War Department technical bulletin (TB 23-30-1, dated March 13, 1944) providing installation and usage instructions. The square metal piece in your photos (the black rectangular plate with two screw holes, partially unwrapped from the preservative paper) is the mounting plate (also called the base plate or bracket) for the WWII U.S. M15 Rifle Grenade Launcher Sight. Its purpose: •  It permanently attaches to the left side of the rifle’s wooden stock (on the M1 Garand, M1903 Springfield, or M1 Carbine) using two special wood screws (included in the kit).

Howdy Townpost. This is a fine English pocket or coat pistol made by Hollis and Sheath company which is the precursor to Hollis and Sons or Isaac Hollis and Sons. Wallace and sheath became Hollis and Sons in 1861 when Isaac Brentnall Sheath left the company to immigrate to Canterbury, Australia and raised sheep and owned coal mines in an area that is now a suburb of Melbourne. His gun making days were behind him, he'd become an industrialist down undah. Sheath & Hollis co-founded the company in 1849 and Sheath stayed with the company until as previously stated, 1861. That dates this firearm between 1849 and 1861. This is a single shot side hammer lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. The gun is mechanically excellent. The bore condition is very good, there is some minor shallow pitting but overall the rifling is very sharp and clean and shiny. The overall exterior condition of the metal and wood is in excellent shape the diamond checkering are sharp and defined. The powder chamber has only minor pitting as pictured and was cleaned out internally. For a defensive coat pistol, the sights are excellent and easy to pick up and with a rifled bore in good condition I expect this pistol could be fired very accurately. To shoot this gun I would use 3F powder. Both number 10 and 11 caps fit the nipple reasonably well. A 40 caliber lead ball would be ideal as a projectile but you could definitely use .375 caliber balls with a patch no problem in my opinion. I haven't tried it myself though. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

*Price reduction fro a quick sale* This is a High Condition 1944 BSA selected to be upgraded into a "T" pattern sniper rifle with correct "TR" marking on the left side of receiver ring. These sniper rifles were based on hand selected No. 4 rifles and saw service with Commonwealth forces during WWII and into the 1960s. In addition to the rifle's standard protected blade front sight and ladder rear, Scope is a No. 32 Mk. II OS. 1650A & mounted on a quick detach base. Scope is dated 1944 and numbered "15803"which is matched to the rifle with the same number force matched on the wrist(see photo). Cast scope base is a high quality reproduction(Roger Payne replica) and was Matched 3522 to same as on the bolt and rifle. Walnut stock with cheek piece, "S51" also stamped behind the grip indicating the rifle is a wartime conversion by famed gunmaker Holland & Holland. CONDITION: Very Good. Metal retains the vast majority of its arsenal applied finishes with some fading. Stocks show small nicks and impressions throughout as is to be expected on military issue arms. Good, strong grooves and bright bore. Scope is original and is still very clear for it age. Also included as an original green metal scope case for securing the scope. However, the numbers on this case are not matching the scope.. Barrel Length: 25 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore: .303 BSA Model: No. 4 MK 1* (T) Serial Number: D3522. Also comes with a Chest S.A. Light to moderate wear on wood, it is over 100 years old, crest is in very good sharp condition. Barrel, receiver, and bolt has not been reblued floor plate, and trigger assembly looks like it has been reblued. stock has not been sanded. Metal stamps are sharp with Swede crowns populating the bolt, barrel, sights and receiver.

Round 26" barrel, dark bore, good rifling, approx. 20% plum finish remains with lacquering on some of the metal. Dark walnut forend & stock (original) with the stock having a small piece missing from the left side and about a 1.25" old crack on the wood right side both near the bottom of the tang/guard (pictures are attached) but stock is still mounted solid to the tang. Action is still quite tight for it's age and old sling swivels had been added to the rifle at some point in it's younger years. Must have valid PAL to purchase and will be verified. This firearm was manufactured before the manufacturer changed its name to Webley & Scott in 1897. 2.75 in. chambers. fixed chokes. double triggers. internal hammers. automatic safety. Hawkins recoil pad. double bead sight. All metal parts including the rib and both barrels are covered in intricate beautiful engraving. Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered. Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. Stock has a few scratches and dents but no cracks. There is a small hairline crack on the upper right side of the fore stock. price includes an interesting looking old worn leather take down carrying case and a vintage cleaning kit in an old wooden box. more photos available on request. the shotgun was not stored in the leather carrying case.

12 ga. double barrel side by side shotgun. Made by G [George] Bate a famous English gunmaker from Birmingham England. double triggers. double exposed hammers. 2.5 inch chambers. all the metal parts of the firearm are covered with delicate intricate engraving. the barrels appear to be Damascus steel. There is no serial number from the manufacturer. There is a serial number sticker from the Canadian Firearms Registry on the side of the receiver from when the firearm was registered under the now defunct long gun registry. all old firearms records for this gunmaker were destroyed in the 1940's when the factory was bombed in WWII. The gun was made between the 1890's and the 1920's. G Bate Maker, changed its name to G Bate Ltd in the 1920's. in the 1990's the name was changed to Bate & Cross [Gunmaker] Ltd. it has been well cared for. there is no rust and no pitting. the wooden stock has some scratches and dents but is not cracked. it has not been fire for many decades.
