WW1 Swiss Model 1914 Pioneer Sawback Sword bayonet Sawback sword bayonet for use on the 7.5 mm. Schmidt-Rubin M1911 carbine and the M1931 Short Rifle (K31). The M1914 has a swell-point blade profile, where the blade is wider at the point than at the ricasso. The 1914 blade is fullered on only one side. The right side of the blade has the initials HS stamped immediately in front of the guard for the Maker Hans Steimer With the Swiss proof mark stamped below the initials. The back of the blade has an aggressive saw blade which starts 1” in front of the guard and extends to 14” from the guard. The right side of the guard has the number 478681 stamped in it. The release button works as designed. The scabbard is in good condition with the original leather attachment strap included. This bayonet was manufactured by Paillard with their mark stamped on the end of the scabbard. Overall Length – with blade in scabbard - 25” Length of Bayonet – 23 7/8” Length of Grip including the Guard – 5” Blade Length – 19 3/4” The M1914 was issued to select troops. WW2 / Post war British No7 Mk1/L Bayonet & Scabbard. Made by BSA which had a smaller production run of only 25,000. The bayonet is is in excellent to VG condition but the blade has been sharpened and buffed. As such it is missing the bluing line at the base of the fuller and the sharpening  has removed some of the fuller there as well. The broad arrow mark is also obscured slightly. Bluing finish is worn at the cross guard from handling and wear but is excellent at the hilt / socket with only slight edge wear. Socket is stamped M47B, which is the BSA marking and there is a very faint "MADE IN UK" stamped on the other side. The scabbard is the original No5 Mk2 scabbard with brass throat and is in excellent condition with slight wear to the finish and no dents. Postage & packaging to Canada is $25 Tracked. Local pickup in St Albert. Not looking for trades at this time

This is an original Japanese non-commissioned officer’s (NCO) Shin Gunto sword from World War 2. The blade and the mountings are in Excellent condition. The blade is 26.5 inches long (67cm) and has a fuller the entire length of the blade. The blade is numbered 20730 and the scabbard is numbered 20437. There is an arsenal stamp on the blade next to the number. The sword is in Excellent condition showing no nicks, a few small scattered spots of rust, and some scattered scratches along its length. The mounts are in Excellent condition. The scabbard is green painted metal showing no dents and retaining roughly 80% of its original finish. The handle shows no dents and retains roughly 80% of its original finish.
