This is an original WWII-era Canadian “Crash” tanker helmet (officially known as the Helmet, Crash, Tank Battalion), a rare piece of Canadian armored forces gear produced in limited numbers (around 12,000 total) starting in 1940. It features a cloth-covered cork shell (painted black), rubber side vents, a web suspension liner, leather chinstrap, and the distinctive leather “scrum” (headphone holder) laced and buttoned underneath for radio equipment. These were primarily used by tank crews in Canada (not issued overseas) and remained in service until the 1960s. Your example appears complete, with visible wear and patina consistent with age and use, including some cracking on the shell and scrum—common for these due to the materials. 2015 Silverado 2500HD LT 4x4 Crew Cab regular box Very well maintained truck with vast majority of use on highway. Clean car fax with no collision or theft history. Regular synthetic oil changes, 80-95% remaining on brake pads, new Nokian Outpost tires in Nov, excellent paint condition, transmission / diff oils changed by Transmission shop (not a quick-lube type place that does damage with a flush) at 90,000 and 180,000 km and not a spec of metal on the magnet when the pan was dropped. All new spark plugs at 190,000 km. Needs nothing. Will buy new windshield and oil change for new owner. This shows like a much newer truck and you will see the difference in person. Don’t want to put a crack in a new windshield before you get possession so we can discuss when to put that in for you. This item was manufactured by Shepherd hardware company in New York. Patent March 14, 1882. Sheppard was the company to make these banks and only made them for 10 years the original bank when you put the coin in his hand and press the lever, he deposits the coin into his mouth while the eyes roll back very high vintage condition with original paint, no cracks or brakes some minor paint loss due to its age of 144 years. Heavy cast-iron construction man with red buttoned down shirt and bowtie. Has original flat screw back bottom plate has original Allen wrench nut. This is in great collectable working condition. Size is 5 1/2 inches in length and height is 6 1/2 inches.

Leitner designs - ACS forged Rack for 2007 to 2020 Chev Silverado 6’6” bed. The rack bolts on, it does require some drilling for rear support braces. New rivet nuts are required from Leitner for about $28. The rack is rated for 1400 lbs static weight and 800 dynamic on highway. The rear bar can be moved to the front to open space for hauling tall loads. New these racks run $3000. Some blue paint transfer on support brace from hauling MDF sheets. Requires one new M8 bolt.
