For sale is a sporterized Lee Enfield No.4 MK1/2 . Stamped FTR50 meaning It was re-manufactured at ROF Fazakerley. New barrel new stock and new trigger at the time of refurbish in the 50's. The gun is in good shape for its age, see pictures. Barrel bore is clean with good rifling. The barrel bluing has some wear. Includes a picitinny mount rail. Selling/trading a Parker Hale Super Safari in .308 Norma Magnum. Overall it's in very nice shape. 24" aftermarket barrel built on a controlled round feed action. Bling is in nice shape throughout, a few light spots of fading here or there - nothing major. Wood stock is in very nice shape with fine checkering and a high gloss finish. Looks to have been shortened and then extended with a rubber piece at the end of butt as seen in pictures. Sling studs have been relocated forward of the original holes with the holes filled. Bore is very nice. Comes topped with a generic 3-9x40mm scope. Overall a very nice rifle. Looking for $1095 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Was originally purchased in England and brought over to canada many years ago. The original butt pad has been replaced at some point with a Ruger red pad. SOLD. $800 Not sure of the year but guessing from The 70’s. Real low round count for the age. Sounds like it sat in a safe for over 30 years with a good coat of oil. Excellent condition. Only thing I’ve changed on it was the butt pad. The original was rock hard. Put a rubber butt pad that absorbs some recoil. Scope is nothing special. Red Ram 4x32. It was still zeroed for 200 when I took it to the range though. If I was keeping it, think that’s the only thing I’d change but this would be a perfect starter hunting rifle as is. .308 win still reasonable $ and will put down most big game if you know how to shoot. Have seen some other PH listed on here before that are not in nearly this condition for $700. This one is like new. Asking $800. Text is the best way to reach me. I can’t always take a call. Prefer local sale. Calgary and Area. Verification of PAL req.
