Made in Finland M22000 Valmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single shot bolt action. 27.5" heavy competition barrel. Adjustable butt plate and set trigger. Friction T channel sling slot. Profiled competition heavy stock for right handed use. Bushnell 3-9 x 20 scope with dovetail rails on receiver. Drilled and tapped for rear sight with front sight mount. VKT (Valmet), or the State Rifle Factory became operational September 9, 1928. Since 1930 Valmet's factory rifle club was active as well, having their hand in the design of the Finnish Lion, together with Aimo Lahti, the chief designer. 2. The Finnish Lion has the longest manufacturing time of all Finnish guns, from 1930 to 1979. Models are: M30 (prototype), M31 mod I, mod IIa, IIb, IVb, IVc, M35, M45, M52, M55, M59, M62, M65, M70, M200002 (Finnish Lion Standard) and wild boar version. Heavier models were the Finnish Lion Match and Champion. Two lighter version were also made, Junior and Pikku Leijona (Little Lion). 3. Serial numbers start from #1 (1932), and end into # 14,358 (1979). 4. The bolt and trigger are said to have been ahead of their time. The lock time is fast. Also the barrels were accurate. Champion models should have a set trigger, which makes lock time longer, but reduces pull weight. 5. Some of Vlamet's success in competition: WORLD RECORDS: -Lucerne 1939, 40 shots prone -400 points, Toivo Mänttäri -Buenos Aires 1949, 3x40 team contest 5770, finnish team, 40 shots standing, 380 points, Pauli Janhonen WORLD CHAMPINSHIPS -Buenos Aires 1949, 3x40 shots, 1165 points, P. Janhonen -Stockholm 1947, 40 shots standing, 377, H. Erben 6. The Helsinki Olympics in 1952 was the prime time of the Lion. A quarter of all shooters shot the Lion, prone gold was won by a Romanian - a Mr. Sirbu, score 400. Vector Optics Paragon Series Prism scopes
The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. All Paragon models also boast the best eye relief when ranked against competing micro prism sights. -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x1 The design of he Paragon x1 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. It is ideal for someone wanting a close quarters optic but not wanting to be at the mercy of batteries. In the cold Canadian climate there is some wisdom in avoiding something battery dependent in the outdoors. The one power paragon has a circle dot reticle which, according to gestalt psychology, draws the eye quickly to the center. It is a reticle type which is faster to acquire than a dot or a crosshair. The Paragon x1 comes with a low mount and a high mount to be optimized for a large variety of firearm types, from the traditional Mossberg shotgun to the 180C. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: Shotguns, PC9, SKS, FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x3 The design of he Paragon x3 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. The 3 power prism sight is ideal as a battlesight for modern sporting rifles as the 3 power gives a flexibility at close, medium and occasionally longer ranges quite comfortably. 3 power, in my opinion, is the maximum magnification your brain can resolve with 2 eyes open style shooting. 3 power is ideal for people expecting to engage targets at 300 meters or closer. The x3 Paragon is lightweight and small measuring 3" in length weighing only 225g. The reticle has a drop compensator for 223 balistics. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor, crypto -------------------------------------------- Specter Arms is a dealer for Vector Optics and the x1 Paragon is not the only thing in stock. Red dots, scopes and micro reflex sights are all available on the website. Send a text to 7809079585 for more info. Do you need to outfit your family or survival group? Sharps & Hankins "No. 3 C" Four-Barrel Pepperbox, .32RF Caliber $2800
Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional pocket handgun in perfect like new condition. No PAL required. Ammo is available but sold separately. Comes with FRT paperwork. Sharps & Hankins "No. 3 C" Four-Barrel Pepperbox, .32 Caliber Rim Fire , SCARCE This one is a Sharps & Hankins four-barrel pepperbox classified as a "Model 3C". It is characterized by the button-type barrel release and ejector mounted between the barrels. It is chambered for the .32 rim fire cartridge. The gun is in excellent condition, with original blue intact and the case colors on the frame. The markings are sharp and clear. This is a unique variant with a floating, internal firing pin which rotates a quarter turn with each cocking of the hammer and these are rarely encountered. The 4 bores are good with strong rifling all the way. The black gutta percha grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 5822, excellent overall. Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. In 1862, Christian Sharps formed "Sharps & Hankins", in partnership with William Hankins, who had sold his own plant to William Uhlinger. Sharps & Hankins would continue until 1866, producing their four-barrel pepperboxes, single shot pistols, and military grade long arms in competition with his former company in Hartford. Soon after the war, the partnership was dissolved, and Sharps would go back to his previous name of C. Sharps & Co. He continued to manufacture the four-barrel pepperboxes until 1874, when the firm was dissolved after his death.

ANTIQUE (no PAL) Smith & Wesson .44 Russian Double Action New Model No. 3 Revolver
Selling to get some cash flow, this is an antique, all matching and fully operational Smith & Wesson top break double action new model #3 revolver. These were the first double action guns ever made by S&W, driven by demand to increase rapid performance at close quarters while still having the choice to shoot with more accuracy in single action. These were mostly chambered in the popular .44 Russian round. These can be purchased in cowboy loads from myself as part of the deal, found online, or easily reloaded with .44 russian, magnum, or special brass. As an antique, this handgun requires no licensing or registration to buy or own in Canada. Do your own legal research! This gun is serial number 35XXX, dating its manufacture to the late 1880s. As a nearly 140 year old gun, the mechanical condition is strong, with all three positions of the hammer exactly as desired and both single and double action trigger pulls nice and light. Indexing is reliable with a lockup of both the cylinder and the top break hatch having less than 1mm wiggle room. The original hard black grips are still sturdy and nice. The 6 inch barrel on this bad boy still has loads of accurate lead to deliver. Ejector functions perfectly. Visually, the overall look is a peppered patina. Very little of the original nickel remains, with a mottled "in the white" surface being most dominant. No severe or active oxidation can be found. All of the two line address and patent info are clearly visible on the top strap, with the S&W stylized logo featured strongly on the right side. An dependable example from a world renowned manufacturer. No PAL, must be 18 Ships Canada Comes with digital FRT report Check my ads for more antiques! I make no claims about the safety of firing ANY antique gun. Check with a gunsmith!
