The wood carvings are absolutely beautiful,it has a Bugling Elk encircled with branches of leaves on one side and a retriever on the other. The wrist area and forestock is done in a seldom seen fish scale or scallop design for better grip handling. The receiver is deeply engraved on both sides with deer and forest scenes and the rest of the action has simple swirl line design engraving,action lever,tang trigger guard etc. Excellent original factory recoil pad.
