Howdy Townpost! I'm looking to sell my rare bird antique revolver. Husqvarna made 13,619 model 1887 revolvers over the course of 9 years between 1897 and 1905. Of those only 350 were made in 1897, and thus those are the only antique status Husqvarna model 1887s in Canada that are recognized by the RCMP CFP Lab Technicians. This is one of them, number 260. These are not common to say the least. These revolvers are chambered in the 7.5 mm Nagant cartridge. The chamber dimensions are essentially almost identical to the 7.5 Swiss revolver cartridge used in their model 1882s. So you can make proper brass and the proper dimensional cartridge for this gun using either .32-20 Winchester, .25-20 Winchester, 7.62mm Nagant (1895), or 8mm Lebel Revolver brass as parent cases. I have some virgin 7.62 Nagant brass that I'll throw in as a freebie to the buyer and there's like 50 pieces in this bag. Or the more expedient way to shoot this gun is to shoot 32 Smith & Wesson long or short as an inexpensive and smokeless off the shelf ammunition. This is commonly done in Switzerland with Swiss model 1882 revolvers, and given that this has almost essentially identical chamber dimensions (they Husqys are actually little a bit tighter) you can do the same. So I decided to give it a whirl with the .32 S&W and was actually very pleasantly surprised by my results. My best three round group at 25 yards with PPU .32 Smith and Wesson Long with round nose lead bullets was 2 inches. Those were the first three rounds I fired through the revolver but the three following rounds in the same cylinder opened up to a 5 inch group as the barrel heated up. I still have the target and can provide a photo of it upon request. I imagine any almost any .32 Smith & Wesson standard velocity factory ammunition would be fine to shoot in this except Sellier & Bellot because it has a fairly small diameter rim diameter and the rounds sink into the chamber and will not headspace properly and the hammer can't reach them. One in five cases bulges and splits open, but the majority of rounds fired essentially fire form to the chamber and could be possibly reloaded in my opinion. Overall the ammunition performs surprisingly well for being how undersized it is and as long as you use lead bullets or maybe a hollow-based jacketed bullet, the bullet will expand and grab the rifling and stabilize very well and achieve good accuracy. The revolver is all matching except for three parts. The cylinder is an unserialized replacement. The trigger guard and the side plate are also replacements in the 4200 SN# range. The chambres and bore are all in excellent condition. There is one spot of extremely shallow corrosion sot in the bore and that is pictured. Beyond that, the bore is sharp with tall lands and is mirror shiny. And all of the chambers are very clean and shiny as well. They are also pictured. Overall the gun is in very good condition the most noticeable wear is on the color case hardening that is on the loading gate trigger and loading gate spring. The non-matching side plate was reblued to more closely match the original blue on the frame. I will include a little document dossier I've put together in a binder that provides documentation on this firearm. It includes a copy of the Firearms reference table entry or FRN, a copy of the regulations prescribing antique firearms, and some copies of emails I received from the RCMP lab technicians confirming their opinion of the antique legal status of this particular example SN#260 revolver that I received in order to import this firearm easily. So all of your legal bases are covered. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. I can do Alberta meetups too. It depends on the time of year though and whereabouts. I too have video footage of me shooting this firearm with 32 Smith & Wesson ammunition and the target I used I just have to edit the clips together and upload them to YouTube. I haven't got around to doing that yet. I suspect the revolver will be sold before I get around to doing that, but I will upload that footage regardless for the buyer. But for now you'll have to take my word for it until I upload the video and if that's not good enough for you then you'll probably miss out on the sale cause it's exactly what happened with my .38 Special converted Colt model 1889 that's sold in less than 24 hours.

Howdy Townpost! I've gotten my hands on some stubby steelies! These are new production Yugoslavian military patterned magazines made in Croatia. These are well made and the milling was done well too. These are all properly pinned to 5 rounds. And are nice for hunting with a shorter mag or hauling it around with a shorter and lighter mag when compared to standard a 5/30 rounder. These magazines will also work with an AK magazine coupler (I have these for sale for $20). Which for an SKS-D some plastic on the coupler must be removed first. The M10X should work with a coupler without issues the same goes for the WK-181 and modded mags in the Type-81. These can be modified to fit into a Type-81. I also have modded mags for sale which are $55 each. I am the only seller who has these Croatian 5/10's in Canada. Even the crappy Gen.1 KCI 5/10's are out of stock practically everywhere in Canada. This is a limited run, so don't miss out. The mags are $40 each. The mags will come in a plastic bag in preserving oil that can be easily cleaned up with any degreaser or simply hot water and dish soap in your kitchen sink with a quick scrub and then dried. It's a good idea too to apply a light coat of gun oil. A single drop rubbed across the entire mag is enough. These mags will fit in the SKS-D, the M10X series, and they might require some hand fitting to work in the WK-181, since Kodiak designed those things with odd magwell dimensions with PMAGS in mind. In all likelihood though, they will work out of the box for you. The magazines are located in SW Calgary and can be picked up anytime. Howdy Townpost. I've a neat old single shot 12 gauge made by Savage. It has a nice and light tenite stock that was sanded at one point to give it a matte finish. The shotgun is very tight and not off the face at all. The gun is very light and handy sitting 5.73lbs. It has a 12 gauge 2 3/4in, 28in full choke barrel. The patent number is molded into the plastic stock interestingly enough. The black paint on the trigger guard is flaking of a little. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. Howdy Townpost. I am selling this Remington 3.5inch Super-Mag that I picked up from BassPro in Calgary. I never got around to shooting it but I got a deal on it so I'm willing to let it go for cheaper than usual. This was a store demo gun, which essentially means it was dry cyled and shown to customers a few times. It's more or less a brand new shotgun. There's hardly any wear on it with the exception of some cosmetic blemishes from some small patches of surface rust that formed on the parkerized receiver. I suspect they never oiled it and peoples hands or just some moisture caused it. I cleaned it off and oiled the whole gun. It's pretty smooth even though it's a new gun and hasn't been broken in. The rubber recoil pad is still nice and soft The date code looks like AJ so it's a 2015 production. It was kicking around BassPro for almost 11 years! These regularly retail for $750+tax but occasionally go on sale for $650+tax. So I think $630 with no tax is not a bad deal for an essentially brand new shotgun. NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.

For sale is a Churchill 512 Silver double-barrel, side-by-side 'shorty'. It is a 12 gauge model, with 3" chamber, and 12.5" barrels (w/ fixed cylinder chokes). It has a full length turkish walnut stock. It is one of the shortest non-restricted shotguns on the market (with an OAL over 26"). This model has a barrel selector, and manual safety. This shotgun has less than a box of ammo through it, and is not even fully broken-in (the action is still very tight!). There are a few handling marks. It is a great shotgun for backcounty backpacking!

Most of these are over 100 years old anyway but the ammo should be relarively the same and purchasable. As modern specific arms currently have embargoes, though the laws will likely change and get better once our corrupt dictatorship is gone. With resignations owners and shops are essentially just waiting for the laws to change back or get even better just an fyi. i spoke to shop owners and gunsmiths directly who know more than most about the situation. I will only take direct trades and im not gonna transfer funds first to some scammer - and I need to see the quality also various calibers are still allowed and there are legal ways of transferring many older hand arms. The embargo is based on the recent makes not the caliber necessarily. Good or some worn condition I’d expect in fact I prefer a good harms arm to have some wear showing it has reliability and is still fully calibrated and comes as is no need for bells and whistles just a feel good reliable piece that will out last another generation to come. Hello I'm selling a Arisaka-Carcano Type I Rifle, it is Italian made for the Japanese Imperial Navy for WW2. This is a combination of the Carcano 1891 and a Type 38. It has the action and barrel of a Carcano and it is chambered in 6.5 Jap, has the 2 piece stock, 5 round internal magazine, and the sighting system of the early Type 38. The bolt and receiver has markings from Fabbrica Nazionale d'Armi - Brescia, this is the more uncommon version accounting for roughly only a quarter of production with total estimates from 60k-130k across all factories. Two types of Type I buttstocks were made, the short and long version and this rifle is the long buttstock version. The bolt on the Type I cannot be swapped with a Carcano and vice versa as the Type I bolt has a slightly different location cut for the ejector. The exterior metal has some surface wear and some light surface rust with the buttplate being the most worn. The internals and bore are in good condition with good rifling as shown in the images and the bullet test, the bullet I used was the 6.5 Jap Norma Factory ammo. It is missing the cleaning rod and ejector, luckily the ejector is readily avaliable in parts stores such as Numrich. The rifle has a hidden duffle cut under the front barrel band, the previous owner repaired the duffle cut by putting a small wooden dowel in the cleaning rod hole and glueing the 2 pieces together. The glue has come loose and would need to be re-glued. The rifle shoots well using 0.264 Speer bullet handloads at 25M with all the shots landing well without any keyholeing. He is athletic, cuddly, smart and goofy, and loves the outdoors. I selectively bred his mother a few years ago to get Jasper, and kept him from the litter because of his traits and personality. He turned out to be an amazing family dog Jasper is 3.5 years old and produces sperm Breeding can be done by natural breeding or AI. He has sired 10 healthy litters of different peoples dogs, and carries genes that have produced an amazing variety of puppies; Red Merle’s, Blue Merle’s, Black & Whites, Tricoloured, Solid Red, and Brown puppies. He had these colouration combos as his mom was black and white, dad was a red merle, and grandma was tricolored. His further descendants likely carried further coat colors, as he has produced a variety of coats on all his pups. Jasper is great with people, other animals, and does well by himself or in crowds. His mother was a trained cattle dog. Jasper has a long coat. His father has a long coat, and his mother has a short coat, so his pups can have a variety of coat lengths. I purposefully bred his mother to produce him as a mixed breed, because it helps with health, life longevity, and a larger genetic diversity, and a lower coefficient of inbreeding. This coat is also excellent for our habitat and seasons, where he is fine in winter or summer. He is able to make beautiful pups. He is very muscular. The dogs he would go good with, considering they are healthy, include breeds such as a German Shepherd, Husky, Aussie, Collie, Retriever, Maremma, Poodle, and other medium to large healthy dogs.
