For sale is a Savage model 1899 lever action rifle. Chambered in SAV .303. Rotary style 5 shot magazine. 26" Barrel. Serial number 106710 dates it to 1910. The front fore grip had a crack in it was professional repaired by a local gunsmith. The blueing was also redone. Other than that the rifle is in good condition for its age, see pictures. It is characterized by the button-type barrel release and ejector mounted between the barrels. It is chambered for the .32 rim fire cartridge. The gun is in excellent condition, with original blue intact and the case colors on the frame. The markings are sharp and clear. This is a unique variant with a floating, internal firing pin which rotates a quarter turn with each cocking of the hammer and these are rarely encountered. The 4 bores are good with strong rifling all the way. The black gutta percha grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 5822, excellent overall. Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. These are the best of the Benelli clones out there and are very hard to get. Has steel sights and pic rail not plastic. Rubber grip not hard plastic. Parts compatible. Argo gas piston system. Adjustable 3 position rear stock. Adjustable for cheek weld aswell. Comes with +1 mag extension so you can legally load 5 of 3" and 6 of 2.75" plus one in the chamber and Ghost load onto the carrier gives you 8 rounds of 2.75". 5 choke tubes and choke tube wrench. Can ship on your dime. This shotgun is very reliable. Zero issues as long as you keep the velocity of the ammo at 1245fps or more. High brass, lo brass, cheap target loads, buckshot and slugs all work excellent. No need to worry about break in period, done long ago. 1/3 the cost of a Benelli and just as well made. There are lots of clones out there but these are the best. Will trade for Remington 870 Tactical type shotgun preferably with ghost ring sights and choke tubes.

By using the receiver of an existing non-restricted shotgun we have been able to add M3 style components to achieve the same look, feel and function of the legendary M3 Super 90, but without the prohibited classification. The TAC-12 “M3 Super 90” is a dual-mode semi-automatic and pump action 12GA shotgun. It can be quickly converted from autoloading to pump by simply turning a spring loaded ring located on the end of the forearm. The M3 was developed in the 1980’s for special operations and elite law enforcement units who required a shotgun that could adapt to various tactical roles. It’s dual-mode system allows for effective operation of both standard and special purpose ammunition, (i.e. rubber, tear, flare, etc.) on the fly.
