For sale is a Henry single-shot rifle in .44 Mag. / .44 Spl. It has a break-open action. This model has an American walnut stock/forend. The barrel length is 22". It has built in iron sights, and the barrel is drilled and tapped from the factory (for mounting a scope). It is in great condition with low round count (less than a box!). Scarce civilian Cooey Model 82 .22 cal. single shot rifle This model is harder to find compared to the Canadian Military surplus Model 82 rifles normally found. The metal shows 85% original blue and is devoid of the Military C broad arrow markings on the barrel and bolt. The rifle has the original 2-piece full length Mannlicher type stock in excellent condition with no serial or military markings. According to information available they were produce in the 1940's and possible into the early1950's when they disappeared from commercial advertising.

VKT (Valmet), or the State Rifle Factory became operational September 9, 1928. Since 1930 Valmet's factory rifle club was active as well, having their hand in the design of the Finnish Lion, together with Aimo Lahti, the chief designer. 2. The Finnish Lion has the longest manufacturing time of all Finnish guns, from 1930 to 1979.
