Some items are slightly used, but still like new condition, as the rifle only fired a few test shots of plastic BB's, the metal targets were used a bit but also still in great shape. All pellets should be there (500). The iron sights had to be taken off for the scope to fit, but they're stored in the stock pouch. Pickup from Victoria BC highly preferred. This is a .22 competition target Vickers rifle made in the 1930s, some time between 1934 and 1939. It is a 44 1/2" long, quite heavy beast with the Vickers signature 'relieved' barrel-to-fore stock mounting, apparently to enhance the accuracy. It utilises the narrow, falling block, Martini-type action. The bore is bright and shiney, with crisp rifling. It has competion-type fore and rear sights. Overall it is in good to excellent shape. The only thing of note is that at some point a previous owner drilled a line of holes underneath the forestock, which have been filled. The images give an idea of the overall condition of the rifle.
