2015 Silverado 2500HD LT 4x4 Crew Cab regular box Very well maintained truck with vast majority of use on highway. Clean car fax with no collision or theft history. Regular synthetic oil changes, 80-95% remaining on brake pads, new Nokian Outpost tires in Nov, excellent paint condition, transmission / diff oils changed by Transmission shop (not a quick-lube type place that does damage with a flush) at 90,000 and 180,000 km and not a spec of metal on the magnet when the pan was dropped. All new spark plugs at 190,000 km. Needs nothing. Will buy new windshield and oil change for new owner. This shows like a much newer truck and you will see the difference in person.  I just found a couple of boxes of old .350 caliber round balls that I used to shoot in my .36 cal. TC SENECA (which I haven't owned for the last 45 years) . One is an original box of 100 Hornady factory swaged balls and the other is a box of 125 cast pure lead round balls ( also .350 but with a sprue )......not sure which mold was used, as I sold it with the Seneca. I thought to list them for a couple of weeks, before I throw them into my melting pot and turn them int 50-70s  , in case someone wanted to buy ready cast balls. I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense or offer local pick up --- I am also in Red Deer one day per week and can arrange to meet there, or enroute, for delivery.

Howdy Townpost. I've got a number of these brand new Allen slings for sale. The slings I have here are an improvement over the regular Allen Endura. This batch of slings has cam buckles (sometimes called toggle clips) instead of tri-glides. They're easier to use and make attaching the webbing loops to sling swivels really quick and easy. The sling loop sections are longer and could even be used as a carry strap for small logs or something heavy in a pinch. The slings can be adjusted from 28" to 52" so they're quite versatile. The slings are $5 each. I'm currently offering a buy 3 get 1 free deal. The slings are located in SW Calgary and can be picked up almost anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide, this is of course at the buyer's expense. Shipping these as regular or expedited parcels should be fairly cheap since I can roll up the sling into a little roll and put it into a very small box or mailer. I may be able to ship this as an oversized lettermail if I fold one or two slings flat and get them into a large envelope too. So I expect shipping to be $5-19 depending on what option you go with, where the is the package destination and how many slings you want.

Want a new optic, and want to buy Canadian? There's a new option for Canadian glass, sort of: Apex Optics is based in Calgary, but its scopes are actually manufactured in Japan. Apex Optics was founded in early 2020 by a group of western shooters from a range of competitive disciplines. Their goal was to create a new optics brand for competition and long-range shooting reflecting their backgrounds (IPSC, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, Precision Rimfire, Extreme Long Range, etc.). Several of these shooters are well-known in the west's shooting scene, with long history of competition. Apex's first release will be the Rival 4-32x56 mm, which it's been developing for about 18 months. Apex partnered with Japan Optics to actually manufacture the scope, although it's designed here in Canuckistan. The scopes also undergo quality control testing in Japan, and a secondary round of quality control in Calgary. This scope has some unique features due to its design process, including Apex's proprietary CLR competition reticle. This first focal plane reticle is designed for long-range matches where shooters need their scope to handle quick transitions, with top half of the reticle unobstructed. It comes with ranging marks, for scenarios where you can't use electronic rangefinders, and has six-level illuminated main stadia. You can see a full explanation of the CLR reticle design at Apex's website. The scope also comes with elevation turret that features 15 MILs per revolution; windage and elevation adjustments are 0.1 MIL per click. The turrets are not locking, but come with mechanical zero stop and two-turn indicators (future scopes may come with locking turrets). There's a stainless steel pop-up turn indicator. Apex says it has the industry's first see-through integrated and removable throw lever. The new Rival scope has parallax knob indicators for approximate value for 100-, 200-, 500-, and 800-yard distances. There's a proprietary hydrophobic seven-layer multi-coated lens, and other features selected to give Apex's customers top performance.
