Adding any hose, on the intake or discharge outlets, will lower this value somewhat. 1" NPT threaded inlet/outlet (can be easily adapted to a standard 3/4" garden hose with cheap hardware store adapters). Considering this unit is about the size of a small cooler, its abilities are nothing short of impressive. So, with the ground saturated and heavy rain sitting on the prairies, this is the perfect rig to rapidly pump out flooded yards, corrals, low spots, driveways, ditches, or dugouts.
