Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster in .280 Remington, barrel-dated July 1957 — the first year of the .280 Remington cartridge. Condition is very good overall, but I'll be straight: it's not mint. Bluing is deep and strong with honest handling marks from being a safe queen. What sets this rifle apart is inside — the bore is excellent, the bolt lugs look great, and the bolt face shows only what appears to be factory test firing.
