No PAL required. Universal Adapters to 12 gauge avalaible but sold separately. This is an excellent condition example of Double Barrel Luftwaffe Flare Pistol Model L These double-barreled, 26.5mm (4 Bore) signal pistols were issued to the Luftwaffe aircrews. This pistol is marked with the maker code ojn, the code assigned to the famous Krieghoff firearms company Ulm, Germany. The ordnance code is located to the rear of the safety lever on the left side of the frame. The tops of the barrels are both marked with a 4 in a circle (4-Bore) over the Luftwaffe Stick Eagle acceptance mark. This same proof appears on the rear of the receiver between the L and R barrel selector marks, and is covered when the selector switch is in the middle or both barrels position. The signal pistol is marked with the serial number 29313 on the forward lower portion of the right hand side of the frame, and the Luftwaffe Nachrichtenmittel contract number  L.N. 24483 is present on the opposite side of the frame. The gun has a frame mounted safety with Fire and Safe markings. The pistol uses a break open design that is activated by pushing the release lever, located under the trigger guard, forward. This action releases the locking lugs, opens the action, cocks the pistol and automatically sets it on safe. After closing the action, the shooter can use the selector switch on the rear of the frame to determine whether they want to fire the Left barrel, Right barrel or both barrels simultaneously, by pulling the split trigger. The Flare Gun L offered here is in fantastic condition. The pistol retains 97% of black finish. The pistol is in excellent mechanical condition and functions perfectly, with a very crisp, tight action. The two-piece mottled brown bakelite grips are in excellent condition. They retain sharp checkering. They are free of any of the breaks, chips or cracks which often mar Bakelite grips, especially when they are over 75 years old This is wonderful example of war production German WWII flare pistol. It was produced by one of the most famous gun makers in the word, and Krieghoff arms are extremely desirable due to their incredibly high quality and standards of production. It would be very difficult to upgrade this Double Barrel Luftwaffe Flare Pistol and find one in nicer condition.

Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. In 1862, Christian Sharps formed "Sharps & Hankins", in partnership with William Hankins, who had sold his own plant to William Uhlinger. Sharps & Hankins would continue until 1866, producing their four-barrel pepperboxes, single shot pistols, and military grade long arms in competition with his former company in Hartford. Soon after the war, the partnership was dissolved, and Sharps would go back to his previous name of C. Sharps & Co. He continued to manufacture the four-barrel pepperboxes until 1874, when the firm was dissolved after his death.

Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional in excellent ready to shoot condition, very smooth action no PAL needed. Can use shortened 32RF cartriges. Comes with FRT RCMP paperwork. Scarce UNENGRAVED Antique REMINGTON-RIDER .32 Caliber XSRF MAGAZINE Pistol Antique Remington-Rider Magazine Pistol. The majority of these were engraved making this one rare. This pistol was manufactured circa the late 1870s to early 1880s based on designs by Joseph Rider. This pistol is a 5-shot repeater chambered for the .32 extra-short rimfire cartridge. It uses a tube magazine under the barrel and a simple but clever vertically shifting breechblock to give an impressive amount of firepower in a small package. Fewer than 15,000 of these were made between the production run of 1871 and 1888 and they represent one of the few American users of a tube magazine in a handgun. The design was influenced by the popular Winchester rifles. The Riders are among the earliest magazine fed pistols. The pistol takes up basically the same amount of pocket space as Remington’s famous double derringer but allowed for five shots instead of two. The action is unique in itself. The large spur brings another cartridge from the magazine while simultaneously cocking hammer. The large spur travels forward again to close the breech and has an aperture that acts as the rear sight. Original and case colored finish. Excellent action.Sharp markings. The aenemic .32 extra-short rim fire cartridge was also used in the Chicago Firearms "Protector" palm pistol. This one is in excellent condition, with 99%+ of the original nickel intact. The action works properly, and the ejector moves up when the action is opened. The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling. The rosewood grips are excellent and undamaged, showing no handling marks or finish loss. These guns were not serial-numbered. Rated excellent overall.

Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional double action revolver in perfect like new condition. Antique status.. No PAL required. Comes with FRT paperwork.  Tested with smokless powder ammo.   This is the seven-shot, 32 S&W long/.32 MH caliber "medium frame" model in double action. The length of the cylinder differentiates it as a .32 Merwin caliber. It is in excellent condition, with 99% bright nickel and no flaking. The action and locking mechanism are excellent and tight, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly both in single and double action with no play. The bore of the 3 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling . Original grips are excellent and undamaged, with vibrant color. The serial numbers match on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. SN 18369, excellent overall.  Merwin, Hulbert & Co. Medium Frame Double Action Revolver, .32 MH All Merwin, Hulbert & Co. revolvers were actually manufactured by Hopkins & Allen of Norwich, CT, although they may be marked with a New York address. Joseph Merwin opened his gun store in New York City in 1859, with a few partners over the years - Merwin & Bray, Merwin & Simkins, then Merwin, Taylor & Simkins, and eventually Merwin & Hulbert. When Hulbert's half-brother joined the firm in 1872, the name became Merwin, Hulbert & Co. MH&Co were retailers only, and never manufactured or designed any of the guns bearing their name. Joseph Merwin had a 50% interest in Hopkins & Allen, and a seat on the board of directors, and for that reason it would have been logical to use the established manufacturing company to produce this line of guns. The design of them is unmistakable - the mechanism used to open the cylinder, load and unload cartridges, as well as the use of a folding hammer spur is all unique to the Merwin's. The guns are of excellent quality, probably the best Hopkins & Allen ever produced.

The action is smooth and strong, with accurate and tight lock-up. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and miror bright, with sharp rifling and no signs of pitting or wear. The black hard rubber grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 26321, maufactured in 1893, rated excellent overall. The best I have had so far. This model is an important milestone in Colt handgun development, as it is the first American revolver with a swing-out cylinder mounted on a crane, a development which would become the standard for modern revolvers to this day. The 1889 cylinder mechanism was already "on the books" as early as 1880, based on designs of Colt engineers William Mason, C.J Ehbets and Horace Lord. It would take almost ten years for Colt executives to give the green light to manufacture this gun, and once it was available, the US government quickly took notice and ordered several thousand for the Navy. Colt adopted the name "New Navy" in honor of this order. The gun has an interesting counter-clockwise cylinder rotation and a locking mechanism which relies entirely on the two-pronged hand. This would prove to be a weakness in the design, and by 1892 locking lugs on the outside periphery of the cylinder were introduced. The 1889 model would remain in production for 18 years, with significant improvements in 1892, 94, 95, 96, 1901 and 1903. When it was first introduced in 1889, it met with no competition from the other major makers - Smith & Wesson were still heavily engaged in manufacturing top-break revolvers, and Remington only had their solid frame revolvers with removable cylinders to offer. It would take S&W another ten years before they had a viable alternative to Colt's design.

The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The bore of the 4-inch barrel is quite good and bright, with strong and sharp rifling. Mechanically in excellent condition with proper timing and lockup. The latch is also solid with zero play. Extractor works as it should. The black plastic grips in good shape and undamaged SN 20393, perfect overall. History & Background Smith and Wesson's first double action design dates back to at least 1872 - years before Colt ever attempted a double action cartridge revolver. It was mentioned in a letter to the Russian envoy General Orlof, and although the sale to Russia never materialized, it served to pave the way for the very popular and successful line of double action top break revolvers. The .44 Russian model was actually the first to be produced as a prototype, and the last to be released for sale to the public. For this reason there exists a degree of confusion over the proper terminology: the first one to be manufactured for sale was the .38 caliber model, followed by the .32. The .44 caliber model was not released until 1881, and is variably known as the No. 3 Double Action, the Double Action "Navy" (a name Daniel Wesson wanted to keep alive to differentiate this model from the No. 3 single action, and still holding out hope to sell it to the Russian navy), and the First Model Double Action. Originally, the .44 Double Action was made with a 1 7/16 inch cylinder, however an optional .44-40 version was available as of 1886. This required a 1 9/16 inch cylinder, and a longer frame. The firm soon realized that it was too expensive and cumbersome to manufacture two different sizes of frames for what was essentially the same gun, and the shorter cylinder and frame were dropped in faivour of the longer one in the early 1890's. The No. 3 frame .44 double action top breaks were dropped from the Smith and Wesson catalogue in 1913.

Frank Wesson Deringer compact Pocket Pistol, .32 RF RARE $1800

Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional antique pistol no PAL required. Frank Wesson Single-Shot Pistol, .32 RF Short/Long RARE Frank Wesson, elder brother to Daniel Baird Wesson of S&W fame was an accomplished gunmaker when Daniel was still a boy. The two younger Wessons would apprentice with their oldest brother Edwin, and learn much of their expertise from this talented and versatile master. Frank would move to California in the 1850's, probably lured by the opportunities presented by the gold rush, making and repairing guns for the local needs. By 1859 he had moved back to Worceater where he set up shop in his own name. Frank is best known for his fine rifles, "bicycle rifles", deringers and single-shot pistols. Frank Wesson never ventured into the revolver market until he had partnered with his nephew Gilbert Harrington to form Wesson & Harrington. The revolver making business continued to evolve as Wesson & Harrington first, and then Harrington & Richardson. This is Frank Wesson's "medium frame" single-shot pistol, chambered in .32 rim fire. It is in excellent condition, with original blue. The little lever on the bottom of the frame releases the barrel lock when the hammer is in the safety position, and the barrel snaps open as it should. It will not open if the hammer is down, or fully cocked. The bore of the3 5/8 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling. The rosewood grips are very fine. This is an early model of the first variant, of which only about 1000 were ever made. SN 54, excellent overall.
