Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional double action revolver in perfect like new condition. Antique status.. No PAL required. Comes with FRT paperwork.  Tested with smokless powder ammo.   This is the seven-shot, 32 S&W long/.32 MH caliber "medium frame" model in double action. The length of the cylinder differentiates it as a .32 Merwin caliber. It is in excellent condition, with 99% bright nickel and no flaking. The action and locking mechanism are excellent and tight, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly both in single and double action with no play. The bore of the 3 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling . Original grips are excellent and undamaged, with vibrant color. The serial numbers match on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. SN 18369, excellent overall.  Merwin, Hulbert & Co. Medium Frame Double Action Revolver, .32 MH All Merwin, Hulbert & Co. revolvers were actually manufactured by Hopkins & Allen of Norwich, CT, although they may be marked with a New York address. Joseph Merwin opened his gun store in New York City in 1859, with a few partners over the years - Merwin & Bray, Merwin & Simkins, then Merwin, Taylor & Simkins, and eventually Merwin & Hulbert. When Hulbert's half-brother joined the firm in 1872, the name became Merwin, Hulbert & Co. MH&Co were retailers only, and never manufactured or designed any of the guns bearing their name. Joseph Merwin had a 50% interest in Hopkins & Allen, and a seat on the board of directors, and for that reason it would have been logical to use the established manufacturing company to produce this line of guns. The design of them is unmistakable - the mechanism used to open the cylinder, load and unload cartridges, as well as the use of a folding hammer spur is all unique to the Merwin's. The guns are of excellent quality, probably the best Hopkins & Allen ever produced.

Colt M1877 "Thunderer", .41 Long Colt Double Action Revolver "Compact Model"$3600

Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional antique revolver in ready to shoot like new condition ,very smooth action no PAL needed. Comes with FRT paperwork. Tested with smokeless powder ammo Ammo sold separately.  Colt M1877 "Thunderer", .41 Long Colt Double Action Revolver "Shopkeeper's Model" The various names - "Sheriff's Model", "Shopkeeper's Model", and even "Thunderer", "Rainmaker" and "Lightning" were coined by collectors over the years. Colt only marketed these as "Model of 1877 Double Action", and all others are just fancy nicknames. Nevertheless, the "Shopkeeper's Model" is usually one with a very short barrel, and this one is such a model. It has a 2 1/2-inch barrel, and is reminiscent of the "bulldogs" of the time. It is in great condition.  The case colors on the frame are well visible. The markings are crisp and the action is strong and accurate. The cylinder indexes and locks properly. The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is bright, with sharp and deep rifling. The original rare wooden grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 2257.   History & Background   The M1877 was Colt's first double action revolver. Colt insisted on inventing their own double action mechanism, partly because there were numerous patents for DA revolvers in effect, which Colt did not want to infringe upon, but also because they trusted their chief engineers William Mason and C.B. Richards to come up with an original design. For this reason, the M1877's action is like a Swiss clock: it is somewhat convoluted and complicated, and it has earned the nickname "the gunsmith's favorite" over time. The gun did enjoy tremendous popularity however, and was manufactured for 32 years, even after Colt had improved the mechanism and simplified it considerably in later years. The M1877 was available in three calibers - .32, .38 and .41, and was originally called "Lightning". Later collectors coined the name "Rainmaker" for the .32 and "Thunderer" for the .41. In Canada, only the .41 caliber gun with serial numbers below 107,000 is considered an antique, as the others are either exempt calibers, or made after January 1, 1898.

Reloadable ammo is available but sold separately. Tested with smokeless powder. This is conversion to 45 ACP and British .455 Webley ammo. (available for sale online). but still can shoot original 11mm ammo. It is very interesting example of 1873 French Service Revolver that was converted to 45ACP / .455 Webley caliber which was readily available during WW2 and was considerably more powerful than original and hard to find 11mm ammo. This one is in excellent original condition, all the markings are sharp and complete. The serial numbers are repeated on all components: the barrel, cylinder, frame, grips, internal mechanism parts and even the screw heads and escutcheons. Everything matches. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is as perfect and it is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. The action is excellent and accurate and very smooth, the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The walnut grips are excellent and show no damage this one looks like new. SN J24391, this one is made in 1885, rated excellent overall. MAS Mle 1873 French Service Revolver, 11mm French Ordnance The Mle 1873 was France's first double action cartridge revolver. After the disastrous loss to Prussia in the war of 1870, the French military closely examined its armaments and small arms, and they came to the conclusion that a new, more rugged and powerful side arm for their infantry was required. The result was the Mle 1873, designed by the famous partners of Chamelot & Delvigne, whose genius ideas would dominate much of the European military (and commercial) small arms market for decades to come. Many European countries adopted their designs, including Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Russia and Belgium. Only the Brits and Germans would continue to develop their own side arms.

Tested with modern ammo and smokeless powder. No PAL required. Reloadable ammo is available but sold separately.  Smith & Wesson 44 Double Action "First Model", .44 Russian This one is in great condition, with the nickel plating intact. The case colors on the hammer and trigger are well visible, and the markings are sharp and complete. The action is accurate and strong, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly without any play. The hinge and latch are tight. The bore of the 6-inch barrel is very good and bright, with sharp rifling. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, latch and cylinder. The brown grips are very good and undamaged. SN 20990.    History & Background Smith and Wesson's first double action design dates back to at least 1872 - years before Colt ever attempted a double action cartridge revolver. It was mentioned in a letter to the Russian envoy General Orlof, and although the sale to Russia never materialized, it served to pave the way for the very popular and successful line of double action top break revolvers. The .44 Russian model was actually the first to be produced as a prototype, and the last to be released for sale to the public. For this reason there exists a degree of confusion over the proper terminology: the first one to be manufactured for sale was the .38 caliber model, followed by the .32. The .44 caliber model was not released until 1881, and is variably known as the No. 3 Double Action, the Double Action "Navy" (a name Daniel Wesson wanted to keep alive to differentiate this model from the No. 3 single action, and still holding out hope to sell it to the Russian navy), and the First Model Double Action. Originally, the .44 Double Action was made with a 1 7/16 inch cylinder, however an optional .44-40 version was available as of 1886. This required a 1 9/16 inch cylinder, and a longer frame. The firm soon realized that it was too expensive and cumbersome to manufacture two different sizes of frames for what was essentially the same gun, and the shorter cylinder and frame were dropped in favour of the longer one in the early 1890's. The No. 3 frame .44 double action top breaks were dropped from the Smith and Wesson catalogue in 1913.

Reloadable ammo is available but sold separately No PAL required. Comes with FRT RCMP paperwork. Tested fired with smokeless powder ammo. Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Revolver is very solid revolver and has heavier more durable frame and improved grip shape and can be used for fast cowboy style shooting. The New Model No. 3 was originally only available with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, but soon the requests for other lengths came in, and eventually "standard" sizes were 4, 6 1/2, and 8 inches although the 4 and 8 inch are very rare. This is very hard to find single-action revolver with a 4-inch barrel. It is in perfect condition with 100% blue. The action is accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly without play. The hinge is tight and the ejector works as it should. The bore is very good and bright, with strong rifling. The black plastic grips are excellent and undamaged, showing no wear. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, cylinder and latch. SN 24039, excellent overall. History & Background The New Model No. 3 was introduced in 1878. Daniel B. Wesson believed in perfection of his designs, and after having had the opportunity to evaluate the various predecessors of the New Model - the "Americans", the "Russians" and the "Schofields", Daniel decided that the single action top break revolver could still be improved upon. As the Russian contracts were drawing to a close, Wesson, together with his chief engineer J.H. Bullard, redesigned the gun to reflect the most up-to-date findings of their research: the grip shape was changed to make it more "ergonomic", the ejector mechanism was simplified to shorten the housing, the cylinder retainer was improved, the hammer was made to rebound after striking the primer, and the strain screw was replaced from the previous type. The result was the most successful - and longest production period - single action revolver in the firm's history. It proved to be very popular with governments around the world, including Turkey and especially Japan (which bought approximately 1/3 of total production). During its 34 year production period, the New Model No. 3 was produced in barrel lengths from 3 1/2 to 8 inches, and in as many as 14 different calibers.

SN 63945, rated excellent.   History & Background Philip Webley & Son began making top break, hinged revolvers as early as 1880, with the Charles Pryse patented design they acquired for use on their Webley-Pryse revolvers. Soon thereafter an improved locking mechanism by Michael Kaufmann produced the Webley-Kaufmann design, followed by Webley's own improved "Government" model, or "WG". It was not until 1887, when the British military hoped to replace the Enfield revolver that the first "Mark" revolver model was introduced. The Mk I was soon followed by the MkII (1894), then III (1897), and eventually as many as six variations were made, between 1887 and 1949. The Webley top break "Mark" revolvers were probably the single most widely used side arm in the world, and were still in service as late as the 1970’s.

They were built under a licensing agreement between H&K and several manufacturers. They are a 99% clone to the Heckler & Kock Flare Gun Model P2A1. The design is just slightly (cosmetic) differences All parts and components are same and interchangeable. Just like the H&K this flare gun is one of the most modern military surplus flare guns in existence, with it being lighter than most other flare guns. It is also highly desired as it is an official H&K product, which makes it desired by H&K collectors and fans of HK products. The flare gun went into production in the 80’s and is the most modern and sought after in the market today. Although no special licensing is required to purchase one of these flare guns, HK has put a lot of restriction on when and where they will sell the guns and will not even make them regularly available to their dealers.
