A Stevens model 58-12 gauge from Savage arms and is bolt action. From the 1960s, 2 3/4 inch and Full choke. Comes with a 2 rds mag that has been repaired (someone stepped on it a long time ago). Has hardly ever fired, been sitting in a safe for 4 decades. Bore and action is exellent. Not sure if it was converted from a Mauser Ger98 or just based on it. This, the infamous rifle that was said to be the most accurate and well built for it's time, it's more known for causing the deaths of tens of thousands of Canadians and the other countries that adopted this rifle for the reason of fighting in the trenches WW1 and would get sand/mud ECT in the bolt action though it was so well made the precision and delicate machining of this had it opened to jamming, and when our troops ran into this under fire, to clean it out was time consuming, I bought this back around early 2000's for the purpose of giving it to a museum that has my great grandfather's war memorial, the plan changed a while back and looking to downsize, I don't use it for any purpose and has been locked up for years. Selling a project of mine that I never started It's a Martini Henry in 303. There then the barrel which was switched out there are not a lot of markings. $850 shipping is on buyers dime.
