For Sale: Chiappa lever action 1892  in 44 MAG I’m the second owner of this rifle. Took it out to the range a couple of times at 100m—runs smooth, cycles clean, no issues at all. The first owner had it painted and mentioned these ones are pretty rare in Canada, holding 9 rounds instead of the usual 8 in the Trapper model. It also has a saddle ring, which is a nice touch on a ranch-style gun. It’s surplus to my needs now. Open to trades for a good mid- to long-range hunting rifle—something practical for real field use. Selling my Surplus Russian SKS. I've put around 200 rounds through it and have trouble finding the time to shoot. I'm also moving to the states in a year so I'm unable to export it. It has an engraving on the stock because I never planned on selling it but sadly I must. Missing from the pictures are all my stripper clips I will included with it and all its accessories and sling (not original). What I know about the rifle is its a 1956 Д "D" Letter Rifle Refurb , The stock is has a 1952 stamp, magazine serial is not matching. Using the same principle as electroplating, this system uses a low voltage and chemicals to remove the lead or copper from your barrel and plate it on the sacrificial anode (stainless steel rod) that you insert in the barrel. It did work in my 243 win 1885 but I just don't shoot enough to make it worthwhile. I think if you had some heavily fouled barrels, maybe a cache of military surplus for example this would be alot less work that scrubbing forever. Comes with the controller, the chemicals, the stainless steel rod and the electrochemical isolation doo-dads. Not sure about shipping as the rods are 30" long and there are two chemicals.
