Sand filters are easier to maintain, primarily requiring backwashing, long-lasting sand media (change every every 5-7 years), and can handle larger debris and algae problems and is far less irritating on skin and eyes.
Has been stored in a temperature controlled clean garage for the past few years. Pools stored like this can last for decades. Paid over $1000 new for both. Retail replacement value now for pool and salt water system is approximately $1300 (plus having to pay taxes)
