This is a Tranter Model 1863 Single Action Revolver Chambered in .455 centre fire. The majority of the model 1863’s were a double action with only a few hundred being produced in single action. Approximate serial number range for the single actions are between 4000 to 4500. This item being serial number 4010 would make it one of the first to be made of this model. The single actions were mostly produced in .442 rimfire, it is not known how many were produced in centre fire making this even more rare. This item has a 6-1/2” barrel with Cogswell & Harrison London retailer address engraved into it. Birmingham proof marks can be found on the barrel and frame. The firearm retains around 85% of the original finish. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition with a few very light dings. Mechanically it is in excellent condition and functions as it should. This is a very attractive English revolver that would fit well with any antique collection. this is an antique to no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 or older and able to prove it. This is a Rare Antique Remington Early Production Type I, A.K.A. The Double Derringer. Remington produced around 150000 model 95’s between 1866 and 1935. There were only around 1600 produced before the addition of an extractor. Making this one the hardest to find for collectors. This type is marked “E.Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” on one side of the barrel rib and “Elliot’s Patent Dec. 12, 1865” on the other. Later models would see the addition of an extractor and the barrel address moved to the top rib. This has a 3” barrel, is chambered in .41 rimfire and has a spur trigger. There are a a few light handling dings and almost no original finish left. The grips are in fine condition. Mechanically it is still very strong with the action working and cycling as it should. The hinges are intact. There is a slight play in the lock up which would be a fraction of a millimeter. These were carried by many people in the Wild West as they were easily concealed. Wild Bill Hickok is said to have carried a pair of these at times. This would make a great addition to a Remington collection and could be the centre piece to any collection. this is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. This is an Antique Harpers Ferry U.S. Model 1842 Smoothbore Percussion Musket. The overall length is 57-3/4” with a 42” long barrel and coming in at just under 10 pounds. This is a .69 caliber musket. These were designed in 1842 and were produced from 1844 to 1855, with this one being made in 1849. There is a partially visible eagle over US forward of the hammer. Rear of the hammer is the markings HARPERS FERRY 1849. Inspection marks can be found on the barrel near the breech and on the trigger guard. Overall condition is very good with a low amount of handling dings and a small crack in the wood by the butt plate. Mechanically in excellent condition with a strong action. The Model 1842 was the first U.S. musket to be produced with a percussion lock. It had an effective range of 100-300 yards and a maximum range of 400 yards. The 1842 was the last U.S. regulation .69 caliber musket. Many of these muskets later had the bores rifled and saw service in the American Civil War. This would make a great addition to any antique collection of would even be suited as a stand alone piece. This is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 38-55. Date 1909 The stock was varnished at some point. The wood on forearm and butt stock is very good with just some minor bangs from use. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The bluing on barrel, magazine and lever is approximately 75% and the receiver is < 10%. The metal is good but has some minor scratches, etc. and evidence of minor surface rusting. The non-load side of the received looks like course steel wool was used on it. Buck horn sights are in excellent condition and period correct. The barrel is 26” with a full magazine, and the muzzle looks good. Bore is polished & shiny and shows very minor past corrosion, probably from black powder use. Rifling is in good condition. Screws have been used but are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear. Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin extends out when pushed, The cartridge lifter works well and the ejector is tight. Spring on loading port is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped. Overall, this firearm is graded as good. A good addition to any collection. This is an antique Wesson & Harrington No.3 Second Type Revolver. It is estimated that less than 1000 of these second type revolvers were produced from 1874to 1879. This has a 5 shot fluted cylinder and is chambered in .32 rimfire. The octagon barrel is 2-3/4” long with the barrel address reading “WESSON & HARRINGTON WORCHESTER, MASS. PAT. FEB.7 JUNE 13,71”. The barrel markings are sharp. This revolver retains around 85+% of its original finish. Fire blue can still be found on the cylinder pin. The rosewood grips are in near excellent condition. Winchester Model 1894 Ref #1041. Early five digit serial number. Dated 1897. This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1897 Stock is excellent, appears original. A few marks. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. The read sights are intact and appear original. Bore is very nice, no obvious corrosion, does not appear to have ever seen black powder. Rifling throughout. Bluing is 40-50%. There are bumps and scratches on metal expected on a plus 125-year-old firearm. The drivers side receiver has a few light scratches and bangs. Screws have been used but are still usable. There is one on the loading port side that may have been a replacement. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly.  Overall, I grade this firearm as good and should be fully functional. I don’t see many from this time frame with bores looking this good. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to.
