I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition. 1942 round receiver izzy Mosin in great shape. Receiver and bolt numbers match, stock and magazine are force-matched. Stock still has a nice deep color with shellac only coming off on the front handguard. Some scuffs and safe kisses on the butt end of the stock. The bore is extremely good. Very shiny with no apparent pitting or rust anywhere. Solid rifling. Comes complete with a bayonet. The price is firm. Much nicer than the junk you would find at your local gun store for more money.
