They are all purebreds and this is the parents' first litter. This is a medium sized breed. Even though it might look a bit like a husky, they are not related. They are half the size and much more versatile, friendly, and trainable. They are not at all aggressive, but will let you know if anything or anyone strange shows up. This breed very suitable for outdoor living in Alberta and they could easily be outdoor dogs or indoor/outdoor dogs. They love the snow. Both parents are pure Norwegian Elkhounds that live outside on our farm, where we have chickens, sheep, horses, and a cat, and everyone gets along. We breed biewer yorkies in our small family home with two children. Currently our puppies are 12 weeks old and are ready for homes now.
