Job description Company Information: Nelsen Technologies Inc. is headquartered in Leduc, AB with a manufacturing facility and office. NTI offers competitive services to the land based drilling rig industry. Our services include engineering, project management, drafting, manufacturing, inspections and certification. NTI’s operations are performed under its registered Quality Management System to API Q1 requirements. Our team consists of qualified and experienced staff that are registered with APEGA. Our technical staff have completed the Canadian Welding Bureau Visual weld inspection certification programs and maintain H2S Alive, Fall Protection for Rig Work and Standard First Aid – Level C. Position Information: Nelsen Technologies Inc. is looking to hire permanent, full time Journeyman Welders or Fitter that meet the following requirements: Required: Journeyman Welder or Fitter (Alberta Journeyman ticket) Valid CWB FCAW/MCAW and SMAW all position tickets (Or willing to obtain these tickets) Class 5 Driver's License Committed to quality Committed to safety Good attitude Preferred: Experience in a similar role in the oilfield sector Note: Company supplies PPE and consumables, journeyman/journeywoman welders supply their own tools New shop, API Q1 , 4F and 7K certified, CWB certified Top of the line welding equipment Employee appreciation events Competitive wages Overtime paid out after 8 h / day and excess of 40 h per week Automatic 1 to 2 hours of overtime pay per day (9 h or 10 h days) Benefits through Alberta Blue Cross Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Salary: $34.00-$37.00 per hour Expected hours: 44 – 48 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Flexible Language Requirement: French not required Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: Leduc, AB T9E 1J8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Welding: 1 year (required)
