Winchester Model 1894 38-55, Ref #1040 Winchester lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full length magazine. Dated app. 1895. Comes with Winchester letter. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. Bore shows black powder use. Bluing throughout at about 50%. Screws have seen use. Functionally everything seems very good, follower works, saety is good, hammer drops when trigger pulled. Issues:  Tang has been repaired and there is no firing pin, forend has a crack in it.  Only reasonable offers will be considered. I picked this up a while ago and have never used it. It was going to be my bug out gun but life changes and i need to downsize my collection. There is some pitting on the receiver. Bubbad metal work to fit the mag. Rifling looks good. Wartak skar sd-r scope rail. And AR magwell adapter. There is a bit of finish work that needs to be done. The ammo stovepipes unless you put a shim behind the mag then it cycles fine. Might be an easy fix if you have the right tools. Topped with a Burris fullfield 3-9x40 at the moment. $1500 for the rifle, magwell, rail and scope. 1500rd crate of Chinese corrosive. extra $500. Looking to sell my Weatherby Vanguard in .243 Winchester. Comes with the Bushnell Engage 3-9x40 optic. Can also throw in 3 boxes of brass, 18 rounds of loaded ammo and a set of reloading dies as I'll have no use for them. The gun runs great and shoots fantastic out to 400 yards.
