Howdy Townpost! I have a unique one for you this time. You there sir or madam! You wouldn't want to travel these dangerous streets without some form of protection under your coat! Have a look at this and turn off barrel pistol with a switchblade bayonet for backup, made by Mr. Nock. You may need it should you encounter any rowdies! This is a single shot box lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. In my opinion this is an early Samuel Nock made Circa 1840s pistol. Based on comparable examples I've seen and the style of Engraving and construction of the pistol this appears to be an early production Samuel Nock made pistol. Samuel Nock was the nephew and an apprentice of of the more famous Henry Nock. Samuel knock became a very skilled and renowned gun maker in his own right. Most of his guns would be marked S. Nock but some of his earlier stuff had only his last name. I suspect he was trying to trade on his more famous uncle's name at the time. Overall the pistol is in pretty good condition except for a small hairline crack in the frame (pictured). There is some moderate pitting in the bore however it looks worse in the photo than it actually is. This is a smooth bore pistol and is breech loading so the pitting shouldn't make it difficult to load or shoot. This pistol was intended for point blank range shooting by virtue of the fact that has a stubby little bayonet to use in case you missed your target. The pistol mechanically fine. The trigger and lockwork are all in good working order and the spring loaded bayonet mechanism works perfectly. They are often broken because of the small springs and the daily carry type use of these firearms. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

The S8 wraps backwards over the barrel and makes the barrel look like a shorter barreled, suppressed firearm without doing either of those things. It is made out of a corrosion resistant stainless steel, nitrided black, for years of hard professional use. Although the linear compensator does not decrease the sound the firearm makes, it does direct that sound away from the shooter making the shooting experience a bit easier on the ears. The S8 compensator comes in 3 threading patterns: 1/2x28TPI (the .223 standard). 5/8x24TPI 1/2x36TPI The compensator requires a barrel diameter less than 1” with an unobstructed 2” of barrel behind the threads (before thing like gas blocks, front sight towers or bayonet lugs). If you have things like front sight posts that prevent a wrap around comp, consider the S9. The S9 was developed when customers running the ruger PC or the RDB couldn't use the S8 due to its wrap back design. These are incredibly rare, it's in fantastic shape, shiny bore, and an original sling not a repro the bayonet lug is unmarked though and all the history is as such.  1941 duv K98k was likely captured or surrendered after WWII.Instead of being destroyed or exported immediately, it was: Inspected Possibly re-barreled or cleaned up Reissued to DDR police or military The W in starburst/shield marks it as part of the DDR’s official arms inventory.  these are incredibly uncommon, and east german stuff is highly collectable i can ship but I highly suggest getting insurance. WW2 / Post war British No7 Mk1/L Bayonet & Scabbard. Made by BSA which had a smaller production run of only 25,000. The bayonet is is in excellent to VG condition but the blade has been sharpened and buffed. As such it is missing the bluing line at the base of the fuller and the sharpening  has removed some of the fuller there as well. The broad arrow mark is also obscured slightly. Bluing finish is worn at the cross guard from handling and wear but is excellent at the hilt / socket with only slight edge wear. Socket is stamped M47B, which is the BSA marking and there is a very faint "MADE IN UK" stamped on the other side. The scabbard is the original No5 Mk2 scabbard with brass throat and is in excellent condition with slight wear to the finish and no dents. Postage & packaging to Canada is $25 Tracked. Offered for the K98 enthusiast or bayonet collector is an original WW2 police issue bayonet and scabbard. The blade has the makers mark Alcoso ( Alexander Coppel) Please note police bayonets were not numbered. Condition is excellent+ overall. Reddish color bakelite grips. No pitting or rust, blade has not been sharpened and the are no nicks to the blade edge. 2 small dings on the scabbard. Blue finish 98%. Offered for the collector is an original 1909 Argentine bayonet and scabbard as issued with the 1909 rifle. Bayonet and scabbard are matching numbers and the Argentine crest is intact. These bayonets are often found with the crest ground off. Made by Weyersberg Kirschbaum. Bright 16 " blade with no nicks or pitting. Scabbard retains 99% blue, a few small dings. No pitting or rust. 1942 round receiver izzy Mosin in great shape. Receiver and bolt numbers match, stock and magazine are force-matched. Stock still has a nice deep color with shellac only coming off on the front handguard. Some scuffs and safe kisses on the butt end of the stock. The bore is extremely good. Very shiny with no apparent pitting or rust anywhere. Solid rifling. Comes complete with a bayonet. The price is firm. Much nicer than the junk you would find at your local gun store for more money.
