ISO: Long-term Acreage Rental in the Worsley Area (Pic for attention only)
Hello, Thank you for reading, this will be a bit of a longer post. We are a family of 4 in search of an acreage to rent for the long-term, in the Worsley area. If it is a property that someone would consider selling sometime down the road, that would be a bonus, but is not a prerequisite. We are in need of a place for the 1st of October. The current property that we are renting our landlord is looking to sell and has asked us to find a different place. We are clean, capable people who just need some space to work and raise our kids. Our son and daughter are homeschooled, my husband is a licensed heavy duty mechanic/technician/fabricator and I work remote administration and graphic design. We are looking for a property with 5 or more acres as we have a horse, a few chickens, and a milk goat. No indoor animals. A property that has an outdoor building that my husband could utilize for his work would be a huge bonus. We are able to pay our bills (on time) and have proof of income and rent paid for the past 2.5 yrs. We've been looking in the Worsley area for the past 2 years as we loved it there and go often to visit. Our price range is $1400-$1500 plus utilities, $1800-$2000 ONLY if utilities are included. I am aware that the current market is asking much higher rent prices, but for sustainability we cannot pay more. It does not leave enough room for the basic necessities or any emergencies that may come up. Please, no unkind comments, we are really trying here. I will be happy to answer any relevant questions. If you have something, or know someone who does who would be willing to speak with us, please message. Thank you!

Bought to renovate, however our craftsman/renovator, our son, has developed severe pain and is doing what he is able — mostly caring for some of our livestock. If you read this far, here’s a special offer. Have this on a low-interest loan until November, and will accept 3 or 4 instalments towards full purchase price. Can provide references that we are trustworthy. ______________ If you are setting up home on bare land, owning a unit like this has several advantages over purchasing an older mobile house trailer. It is cheaper to move ( 1/2 or 1/4 the cost. Easier to set up. Most likely in better condition. Keeps a better resale value—in addition to private interest, businesses will be interested in a unit like this for a bunkhouse or office space or for use at a project site. Can also be repurposed into a shop or storage space. Or a guest house — after you move into your new permanent home. ____________ How do I know all this? I have bought an older mobile which cost $3000 and $3000 to move. Took 1000s more to repair and it still needs more. Bought another one for $1.00. Yes one dollar. It was double-wide and took $10,000+ to move and 1000s to set it up and make it a comfortable space. One final point, counties aren’t happy with older mobiles, and insurance companies won’t insure them. And…. well that’s enough sharing for one ad…
