Czech K98k in 8x57 Manufactured after WWII at Brno factory.The L serial block id makes it 1946-1947. All numbers matching except the safety and cocking piece were numbered when factory was reusing some old parts. Matching number laminated stock. This is the K98k that was the predecessor to VZ24. It has the typical rampant lion crest. Turned-down bolt handle. Very clean example. Excellent shape. No rust. Value is $1600-$1900 condition depending. This one is very clean in excellent+ condition. Post 1896 Spanish Calvary Carbine, a great piece of history, has original barley leaf sights, all matching numbers on bolt, receiver and stock, rifle is still chambered in 7×57 Mauser. Awesome patina on stock and the rifling is in great shape for the age of the rifle. A great add to anyone's collection and it shoots amazing. Has a small crack on the butt of the stock.
