12 ga. double barrel, side by side, shotgun. manufactured by P [Paul] Webley] & Son of Shaftsbury Avenue London England. This firearm was manufactured before the manufacturer changed its name to Webley & Scott in 1897. 2.75 in. chambers. fixed chokes. double triggers. internal hammers. automatic safety. Hawkins recoil pad. double bead sight. All metal parts including the rib and both barrels are covered in intricate beautiful engraving. Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered. Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. Stock has a few scratches and dents but no cracks. There is a small hairline crack on the upper right side of the fore stock. price includes an interesting looking old worn leather take down carrying case and a vintage cleaning kit in an old wooden box. more photos available on request. the shotgun was not stored in the leather carrying case.

12 ga. double barrel side by side shotgun. Made by G [George] Bate a famous English gunmaker from Birmingham England. double triggers. double exposed hammers. 2.5 inch chambers. all the metal parts of the firearm are covered with delicate intricate engraving. the barrels appear to be Damascus steel. There is no serial number from the manufacturer. There is a serial number sticker from the Canadian Firearms Registry on the side of the receiver from when the firearm was registered under the now defunct long gun registry. all old firearms records for this gunmaker were destroyed in the 1940's when the factory was bombed in WWII. The gun was made between the 1890's and the 1920's. G Bate Maker, changed its name to G Bate Ltd in the 1920's. in the 1990's the name was changed to Bate & Cross [Gunmaker] Ltd. it has been well cared for. there is no rust and no pitting. the wooden stock has some scratches and dents but is not cracked. it has not been fire for many decades.

Winchester Model 1895 30-40 Krag Ref #1047 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, round barrel, shotgun style rear stock. Dated 1903. Stock is in good shape, forend has a few chips missing next to metal, the rear stock is excellent, finish is period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 28” long with period sights intact. Bore is nice and clean with minimal to no corrosion, excellent rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 20% throughout. There are very few minor scratches on metal. Screws are mostly unused, one does appear to have seen a screwdriver but is in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower is correct. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. The firearms and accessories I sell may be new or used and are usually acquired through estate liquidations. I visually inspect them and check basic operation only and share what I know or find in the description and photos. They are not live test fired. I provide full disclosure on what I find but can not be held responsible for what I may miss. Selling like new Mesa Tactical Aluminum SureShell Carrier w/ Rail - Benelli M4, 6-Shell Mesa Tactical SureShell Aluminum Shotshell Carriers with Rail combine a shell carrier with a MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny rail that accepts optical, sights, lasers or accessories. These shotshell carrier/rail systems mount via a “saddle” style method (Remington shotguns) or by using the drilled and tapped holes on top of the shotgun’s receiver. SureShell Aluminum Shotshell Carriers with Rail are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and use Mesa Tactical’s innovative rubber friction retention system to firmly and reliable hold shells in place until needed. Four, six and eight shell configurations and multiple rail lengths available. The Integrated Rail SureShell shotshell carrier design for the Benelli M2 Tactical, Benelli M4/M1014, Benelli SuperNova and Mossberg 500/590 platforms is radically different from the side mount designs. Instead of a stamped backing plate, the shell carrier yoke is attached to a machined bracket with an integral Picatinny (MIL-STD 1913) sight rail. The design allows the ShotShell assembly to be installed on the top of the shotgun by taking advantage of the factory tapped Picatinny (MIL-STD 1913) rail holes.
