X585 JohnDeer GARDEN TRACTORThe John Deere X585 is a 4×4 MFWD 4WD lawn and garden tractor from the John Deere X-series. The John Deere X585 garden tractor is produced at the John Deere Horicon Works plant (Horicon, Wisconsin, USA) from 2002 to 2006.
The John Deere X585 lawn tractor used the Kawasaki FD711D EFI engine. The Kawasaki FD711D EFI is a 745 cc, 45.5 cu-in V-twin 90° liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline motor with horizontal shaft. The FD711D EFI has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; multi-port digital fuel injection; high-pressure transistorized fuel pump; flywheel magneto transistor ignition system. Bore and stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 78.0 mm (3.07 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.1:1. The Kawasaki FD671D produced 25 HP (18.6 kW) at 3,600 rpm.
