Howdy Townpost. I've got a number of these brand new Allen slings for sale. The slings I have here are an improvement over the regular Allen Endura. This batch of slings has cam buckles (sometimes called toggle clips) instead of tri-glides. They're easier to use and make attaching the webbing loops to sling swivels really quick and easy. The sling loop sections are longer and could even be used as a carry strap for small logs or something heavy in a pinch. The slings can be adjusted from 28" to 52" so they're quite versatile. The slings are $5 each. I'm currently offering a buy 3 get 1 free deal. The slings are located in SW Calgary and can be picked up almost anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide, this is of course at the buyer's expense. Shipping these as regular or expedited parcels should be fairly cheap since I can roll up the sling into a little roll and put it into a very small box or mailer. Winchester Model 1894 Ref #1041. Early five digit serial number. Dated 1897. This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1897 Stock is excellent, appears original. A few marks. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. The read sights are intact and appear original. Bore is very nice, no obvious corrosion, does not appear to have ever seen black powder. Rifling throughout. Bluing is 40-50%. There are bumps and scratches on metal expected on a plus 125-year-old firearm. The drivers side receiver has a few light scratches and bangs. Screws have been used but are still usable. There is one on the loading port side that may have been a replacement. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly.  Overall, I grade this firearm as good and should be fully functional. I don’t see many from this time frame with bores looking this good. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. The firearms and accessories I sell may be new or used and are usually acquired through estate liquidations. I visually inspect them and check basic operation only and share what I know or find in the description and photos. They are not live test fired. I provide full disclosure on what I find but can not be held responsible for what I may miss.
