Here is a U.S. model 1917 Trench Knife made by American Cutlery Company displayed with a U.S. model 1917 Helmet. This item still retains much of its original finish. The grips have a few minor dings with no cracks. The 9” triangle blade has one noticeable ding that would be consistent with a defensive block and one small area of pitting on two sides of the blade. The First World War brought along many advancements in firearms and armour but with that being said often the taking of trenches involved brutal hand to hand combat. Very often soldiers would find the trench battle too tight of quarters to use their rifles and would switch to knives, clubs, shovels and anything else that would give them an edge in hand to hand combat. Weatherby Mark V in 300 Weatherby Mag Ref #101MZ Weatherby Mark V in 300 Weatherby Mag. This one is one of the rare, Made in W. Germany rifles, and it wears an original Weatherby post scope 2¾x to 10x in Leupold bases. It is in very nice shape. The only flaw aside from a few bumps or light scraps is it appears to have been shot by someone wearing a beaver hat with flaps and metal clips. The raised comb has several small bumps on it, as seen in photos. From my point of view, love taps😀. All offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only.
