Photo of Apex Rival 4-32x56 Precision Rifle Scope
$2,300.00
Apex Rival 4-32x56 Precision Rifle Scope
Want a new optic, and want to buy Canadian? There's a new option for Canadian glass, sort of: Apex Optics is based in Calgary, but its scopes are actually manufactured in Japan. Apex Optics was founded in early 2020 by a group of western shooters from a range of competitive disciplines. Their goal was to create a new optics brand for competition and long-range shooting reflecting their backgrounds (IPSC, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, Precision Rimfire, Extreme Long Range, etc.). Several of these shooters are well-known in the west's shooting scene, with long history of competition. Apex's first release will be the Rival 4-32x56 mm, which it's been developing for about 18 months. Apex partnered with Japan Optics to actually manufacture the scope, although it's designed here in Canuckistan. The scopes also undergo quality control testing in Japan, and a secondary round of quality control in Calgary. This scope has some unique features due to its design process, including Apex's proprietary CLR competition reticle. This first focal plane reticle is designed for long-range matches where shooters need their scope to handle quick transitions, with top half of the reticle unobstructed. It comes with ranging marks, for scenarios where you can't use electronic rangefinders, and has six-level illuminated main stadia. You can see a full explanation of the CLR reticle design at Apex's website. The scope also comes with elevation turret that features 15 MILs per revolution; windage and elevation adjustments are 0.1 MIL per click. The turrets are not locking, but come with mechanical zero stop and two-turn indicators (future scopes may come with locking turrets). There's a stainless steel pop-up turn indicator. Apex says it has the industry's first see-through integrated and removable throw lever. The new Rival scope has parallax knob indicators for approximate value for 100-, 200-, 500-, and 800-yard distances. There's a proprietary hydrophobic seven-layer multi-coated lens, and other features selected to give Apex's customers top performance. The scopes are certified IP67 dustproof/waterproof, and 1200G shockproof. THE BEST WARRANTY YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO USE. WORLD-CLASS SUPPORT WHEN YOU DO, THAT IS OUR OATH TO YOU! All of our products carry a Lifetime Warranty. We’ll replace any product if it’s not up to our standards of quality and durability, no questions asked. If something stopped working as it should, then let us know and we’ll take care of it at no cost to you. The only things we don’t cover are “Acts of God” like fire, lighting strikes and flooding. Most of those scenarios are typically covered by your insurance. We also don’t cover theft or intentional/neglectful damage or destruction.

Photo of WW2 1943 Canadian/British holster
$95
WW2 1943 Canadian/British holster
Here is a Canadian/British origin and the C broad arrow marking), and cross-referencing the images (including the faint stamping that reads “Z.L.&T. LTD 1943” along with the C broad arrow symbol), this is an original Canadian WWII Pattern 1937 (P37) web pistol holster. Features •  Khaki/tan heavy cotton canvas construction, typical of British/Commonwealth web gear from the era to save on leather due to wartime shortages. •  Flap closure with brass snap (often called a “lift-the-dot” fastener in some variants). •  Brass or metal belt hanger and loops on the back for attachment to P37 web belts or pistol belts. •  Angled design for right-side hip carry, with a reinforced muzzle end. •  Markings: “Z.L.&T. LTD 1943” refers to the manufacturer Zephyr Looms & Textiles Ltd. (Toronto, Canada), a known WWII contractor for Canadian military gear. The “C broad arrow” (often stylized as C↑ or C with an arrow inside) is the Canadian government property/acceptance mark, indicating it was issued for Canadian forces (part of the British Commonwealth system, where the broad arrow denotes ordnance property, and the “C” specifies Canada). This holster was designed primarily for revolvers like the Webley Mk IV .455 or Enfield No. 2 .38, which were standard for Canadian troops early in WWII. However, similar P37 holsters were also used or adapted for the Canadian-made Inglis Browning Hi-Power 9mm pistol (produced from 1944 onward). Original Canadian WWII P37 canvas holsters in good used condition (like this one, with intact hardware and no major tears) typically sell for $150–$350 on sites like eBay, GunsInternational, or militaria forums/auctions. Factors influencing price include: Invasion date1943 date (pre-U.S. entry into the war, during the British Commonwealth’s initial buildup). Clear markings (the C broad arrow and manufacturer stamp add provenance). Condition: This appears solid but field-used, so more toward the $200–$300 range. Recent comparable sales include similar Z.L.&T. Ltd.-made holsters from 1943–1945 fetching $200–$300. Can ship anywhere in Canada Please see my other ads for collectable military accessories.
