ALPS OutdoorZ Extreme Traverse X Hunting Pack (48 Liters)
Never used. Pristine condition. "The Traverse X starts out as your go to pack for backcountry hunts with capabilities to carry everything from your expensive glass to your trusty side arm and rifle or bow, and then it ends up a meat hauling solution for the spoils of a successful hunt. It accomplishes these mission specific tasks by carrying features that cater to the western hunter. Wing pockets serve as both fleece-lined storage for a spotting scope and as part of the lashing system for hauling out meat. The stow away meat shelf is the other hidden component to the Traverse X that transforms and lets the pack live up to its reputation allowing weight to be added and carried securely and comfortably. The combination of Lycra shoulder straps, a molded foam back panel, and padded waist belt along with load lifters and anti sway straps makes this very capable pack a necessity for the 1 or 2 night stay in the backcountry." - Molded Foam Suspension - Lycra® Shoulder Straps for Added Comfort with Load Lifters - 1680D Nylon Ballistic Fabric Used Throughout Pack for Unmatched Strength - Hypalon Used at Stress Points and Extra Lashing Points - Built-In Stow Away Meat Shelf - Side Fleece Lined Wing Pockets for Spotting Scope and Additional Gear - Multiple Compression Straps Including Lower Bedding Straps - Extension Lashing Straps Included - Waist Belt Includes Pockets, Anti-Sway Straps and Accommodates Clip Style Holsters - Rifle or Bow Drop Down Pocket - Shooting Stick and Tripod Holder Inside Wing Pockets - Front Organizational Pocket - Hydration Pocket and Port - Dual Aluminum Stays - Rain Cover Included - Capacity: 48L - Weight: 2.5kg (5.5lbs) - Fabric: Brushed RealTree Xtra® Text only please: 587-937-7701

Photo of Nock .40 Cal. Spring-Loaded Bayoneted Screw-Barrel Percussion Antique Coat Pistol

Nock .40 Cal. Spring-Loaded Bayoneted Screw-Barrel Percussion Antique Coat Pistol
Howdy Townpost! I have a unique one for you this time. You there sir or madam! You wouldn't want to travel these dangerous streets without some form of protection under your coat! Have a look at this and turn off barrel pistol with a switchblade bayonet for backup, made by Mr. Nock. You may need it should you encounter any rowdies! This is a single shot box lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. In my opinion this is an early Samuel Nock made Circa 1840s pistol. Based on comparable examples I've seen and the style of Engraving and construction of the pistol this appears to be an early production Samuel Nock made pistol. Samuel Nock was the nephew and an apprentice of of the more famous Henry Nock. Samuel knock became a very skilled and renowned gun maker in his own right. Most of his guns would be marked S. Nock but some of his earlier stuff had only his last name. I suspect he was trying to trade on his more famous uncle's name at the time. Overall the pistol is in pretty good condition except for a small hairline crack in the frame (pictured). There is some moderate pitting in the bore however it looks worse in the photo than it actually is. This is a smooth bore pistol and is breech loading so the pitting shouldn't make it difficult to load or shoot. This pistol was intended for point blank range shooting by virtue of the fact that has a stubby little bayonet to use in case you missed your target. The pistol mechanically fine. The trigger and lockwork are all in good working order and the spring loaded bayonet mechanism works perfectly. They are often broken because of the small springs and the daily carry type use of these firearms. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

RCBS Precision Micrometer 243win
I don't have anything in 243win anymore so this is surplus to my needs. As to what this does; check out what RCBS says on their website: The Precision Mic is an invaluable tool for handloaders who want to achieve safe, accurate loads that will extend the life of rifle brass. With just a few twists, the Precision Mic allows reloaders to determine chamber headspace and bullet seating depth to an accuracy of 0.001 inch. Its precise readings and ability to extend the life of rifle brass make it an excellent investment for anyone who takes reloading seriously. The Precision Mic measures from the datum point on the case shoulder to the base, giving reloaders precise readings that are in line with SAAMI tolerances. This level of accuracy is crucial for achieving consistent and safe loads, as it ensures that brass is not only properly sized, but also correctly seated. In addition to helping reloaders ensure that their loads are safe and accurate, the Precision Mic can also help extend the life of rifle brass. By accurately measuring headspace and bullet seating depth, reloaders can adjust their reloading process to ensure that brass is not overworked and that it lasts for as many reloading cycles as possible. Located in Radisson Heights, Calgary  Or ship by Canada Post Flat Rate boxes.   Fill them up as much as possible up to 5kg.: 24.1 x 16.5 x 8.9cm.   $20 35 x 26 x 5cm.              $23 39 x 26 x 12cm.            $26 40 x 30 x 19cm.            $35 Will combine as much as possible to minimize shipping costs, including other classifieds I have posted. Instead of Calibre specific micrometers I use a different system. So this is simply not used anymore and available to you. Photo of Reduced - Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 38-55. Ref #1045
$1000
Reduced - Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 38-55. Ref #1045
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 38-55. Date 1909 The stock was varnished at some point. The wood on forearm and butt stock is very good with just some minor bangs from use. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The bluing on barrel, magazine and lever is approximately 75% and the receiver is < 10%. The metal is good but has some minor scratches, etc. and evidence of minor surface rusting. The non-load side of the received looks like course steel wool was used on it. Buck horn sights are in excellent condition and period correct. The barrel is 26” with a full magazine, and the muzzle looks good. Bore is polished & shiny and shows very minor past corrosion, probably from black powder use. Rifling is in good condition. Screws have been used but are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear. Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin extends out when pushed, The cartridge lifter works well and the ejector is tight. Spring on loading port is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped. Overall, this firearm is graded as good. A good addition to any collection. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. Photo of Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
$5250
Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
*Sold* Parting with my Colt 1878 revolver. She's single and double action, chambered in .476 Eley which is interchangeable with .455 Webley. These revolvers were most commonly chambered in .44-40 Winchester and dubbed the "Frontier Model", with the .476 chambering being very scarce. They were introduced in 1878 as a larger frame, larger caliber twist on the new Colt 1877 Thunderer/Lightning model, filling a niche most similar to the 1873 Single Action Army, but this time in double action as well. Selling to clear up some moolah for car repairs. Pre-1898 Canada legal antique. This revolver was made in 1885. It has the desirable Pall Mall one line address on the barrel reading "COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. DEPOT 14. PALL MALL LONDON" with most words still visible. This address is a rarity and was only put on guns intended for the European markets. Serials match 15xxx, with the last 3 digits stamped on the cylinder. The loading gate is a replacement. This gorgeous revolver has an extremely nice black finish with shiny nickeled highlights on the hammer, trigger, and hammer screw. The visual condition speaks for itself. A stunning piece sure to catch eyes, and assurance that the metal will remain protected. The rifling is still strong and defined, showing some scattered frosting. The grips appear original, and are sturdy with minor holster wear on the high points from time on the hip. The action is great. The internals are shiny in factory condition. The cylinder locks up airtight at firing position. I have never seen an 1878 or 1877 with tighter lockup. In the unique fashion of the 1878 model design, this revolver has no cylinder stop allowing slight backrotation when you disengage the action, but it still generally cycles. The loading gate is a bit wobbly, contributing to backrotation. You can read more here: https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/colt-1878-revolver/ A beautiful collector piece and functional revolver. Don't be a stranger, feel free to call or text if you have any questions. Comes with .455 Webley ammo for $125 if you have PAL. Check my ads for more antiques Ships Canada, 18+, no PAL required Comes with FRT antique report I make no claims about the safety of shooting ANY antique. Check with a gunsmith! Photo of Seasoned Dry Split Firewood
Firepit Wood special 130 for tossed load
Seasoned Dry Split Firewood
Please ask about our weekly special by using the key word woodlot special. Each week will have a different special. We have a person on call to met people at the woodlot which is by appointment only and is depending on weather. We have Woodsheds for drying of the Firewood which allows us to be able to dry the wood to get the firewood to season properly. Be aware of Firewood being sold right off log deck which being sold by my competitors for moisture content and claiming the wood is seasoned along in some cases claiming it is ready to burn. In my experience the Firewood takes numerous days to dry to a point that the wood will burn without the aid of fire starter or additional air flow to keeping the fire alive. So please ask lots of questions such as how long the trees have been harvested and how long the wood has been split. If the Time frame is less than a year there no way the wood will be seasoned without splitting and being dry pile for at least 30 to 60 days depending on the weather conditions and temperature to be ready to burn. Please call ahead to set up an appointment because we might out on a delivery. We are now selling bundled wood of seasoned spruce for 12.00 per bundle. Fill a pickup 6'6" box level of seasoned spitted Balsam Firewood which is less than 1/2 Cord which you toss in for $150.00 or stacked for $30.00 more. Price for rounds various sizes up to 6"-inch diameter spruce rounds or 6'6" box is 140.00 for this month's special if you stack the load and tossed price is 110.00. Aspen, Balsam, Pine, Popular, Tamarack, Birch, and White Spruce stored in shed, and we are currently processing Birch, Balsam, White Spruce, Black Spruce, Aspen and Tamarack in lengths of 11 to 20 inches. We are cutting Aspen, Tamarack, Poplar, Spruce and Balsam rounds which are ready for people to pick up for those who want to split their own or burn as is the lengths are 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 30 inches. We are taking bookings for to have the split wood load your truck/trailer right off the conveyor when we are processing by appointment only for a discounted price. Seasoned wood has a Moisture level under 20% and best is around 12% and we have Moisture Tester on Site which there is ongoing testing is on the product to confirm Moisture Levels. Tamarack burns hotter than Birch and leaves little Ash. The highest BTU value of wood is Tamarack at 20.8 then Birch at 20.2 and at third is Aspen at 18.2 and the values are rated in BTU in Millions per cord of wood. Aspen is the best value for your dollar for heating purposes. If you are comparing our prices to other suppliers that sell loose bulk firewood (about 95% of the others sell it loose) a cord is not the same as stacked firewood is almost always about 25-30 % less volume for a tossed load of firewood. Most places "guesstimate" what a cord is by skid steer loader buckets full or the size of truck dump box or trailer dump trailer. This is Not even close to accurate, so if you find a "cord" of Birch Fire Wood is $100 less than our price I would be very suspicious that you are not getting the same quantity of Firewood and it is in fact is it seasoned properly. There is a loading, delivery and stacking for a fee are also available for those who prefer not handle themselves. Prices are dependent on quantity and distance to travel with higher gas prices and inflation which have affected the delivery fees. Please call the Wood Guy at 780-689-6457 and leave a message, or email cmajorow@telus.net, or text 780-689-6457 because I am out cutting or splitting wood. Then we can set up an appointment for pickup because we would like 48 hours notice for a delivery. Please give us some notice such as 7 to 14 days' notice due to weather conditions may affect loading, delivery times due to demand and time to load. We are located north of Athabasca on Highway 813 by the Athabasca Agriplex complex follow the road south and west into. Travel 3 kms Northwest of Town center and turn south at the Athabasca Agriplex Complex intersection on Highway 813 and travel another 3 kms south and then west into the woodlot. Site Id 6640020 Range Road 224.5 SE-30-66-22-W4. I like to thank those who understand the higher operating costs and continue supporting us with the rising costs which are being passed on. Talk to you soon . Thank-You. The Wood Guy
