This gun was manufactured in Czechoslovakia in 1966 prior to BRNO being bought out by CZ (now manufactured in the U.S). It's an excellent shooter especially with match grade ammo. Mechanically it's perfect and cycles rounds smoothly. If you are looking for a first 22 for a kid/grandchild or wanted a forever gun for yourself, these BRNO's are an excellent choice. It has the typical handling marks on the stock of a hunting gun, but no cracks or deep gouges. The bluing is very good with no rust of pitting. It has the express sights for multiple range options. NOTE: This gun is being sold without the rings or scope and is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I prefer to sell local, but can ship if the the buyer pays the shipping. NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.
