Selling as i have less time to shoot rifles and this one deserves to go to someone who will shoot it. I know there is varying reviews on these conversions. My understanding is most (possibly all) were done by century arms and some cycled and some did not. Do your own research please. This one has cycled 125rds of the lake city ammo for me and I don't recall any failures. Both mags did work. Can't guarantee any other ammo as I only tried the one. At the time I acquired this rifle the original scopes were either unavailable or very expensive. I found the vomz played the part. The front is attached with an original ring and a bushing. The back I had to make a scope ring to clamp the back in place. It's machined aluminum painted black. There is just enough room to slide the scope on and off its rail without having to remove the scope from the mount. Beautiful 5.56 boxer primed, unprimed brass, long nosed M-200A1 specification, with carefully annealed cases, handstamp LB (Longbranch) only - no date stamp- from an New Zealand Army blank training contract for their Steyr Aug Copied rifles and produced by Caina-Longbranch in 1999. They are as nice as the day they rolled off the factory production line after being visually hand inspected on light tables. Can be loaded for training or for movie work with the right powder. Crimping the blank case mouth for training or movies will take a special die. Again, these are proper long noses M-200A1 cases that when crimped approximate the full cartridge length and not the shorter M-200 cases that are also harder to feed reliably due to their shorter non full profile cartridge length going from magazine into chamber. Bought it from Cabela's around a year ago. It is fully clean of cosmoline and I always clean immediately it after going out to shoot. Comes with around 200 rounds of surplus 7.62x29mm FMJ Surplus Round. You must always clean your weapon when using these surplus rounds as they contain a corrosive primer. Never had any jams or issues. Only selling it because I'm moving outside of Canada. Valid PAL required. Prefer to meet in Calgary.
