I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition. Legendary Arms M704, 35 Whelen. 24” stainless barrel. Gun is ceracoated. Gentry style muzzle brake and thread protector. Only 10 made at the request of the original owner who purchased. He never used it as he passed away before for using. C/W 1.5-6x42 ZEISS Victory HT w illuminated #60 reticle & Vortex Defender scope cover. Shoots 200gr Hornady Superformance extremely well and fast! 3,000 fps. This rifle has flattened 10 moose 5 elk and other game in the last 10 years. Everything it hit went down.
