This Cap Lock Renegade is the single trigger Hunter Model.

I am the original owner.  It comes with the original box and manual and many accessories including Caps, Bullets and Powder.

It comes with the original ramrod as well as a fiberglass ramrod that I switched out shortly after purchasing the rifle.  I didn’t want to risk breaking the wooden ramrod when it was most needed.

It has been stored in the back of the safe for approx. 20 years since last shot.

The stock and the metal inside and out was treated with WonderLube to prevent rust, etc.  There are a number of nooks and crannies on the gun which show white/yellow in the pictures.  The wonderlube was applied warm and this is where it has dried and not been cleaned off.   

I did not clean it up for pictures so that if it doesn’t sell it can go right back into storage.

The gun is original except that it has been drilled and tapped for a scope.

 I will sell it with the scope and mounts included or the gun alone whichever the buyer prefers.

The scope is a 1” tube - Weaver Micro-trac V4.5-IIW (1.5 x 4.5X).

The scope rings are of the see thru variety so that the iron sights can be used with the scope mounted.  The scope and rings can easily be removed and the iron sights used without removing the scope mount.

This is the wide-angle version of this scope.  It was made in El Paso in the USA and has the steel tube.

The .50 caliber Thompson/Center Renegade Hunter is a traditional side-hammer, percussion cap muzzleloading rifle built with a heavy 26 inch octagon barrel and a sturdy walnut stock.
