The metal and wood is in good condition, barrel well within specs. It has the matching #s and has not been drilled or bubba-d in any way. PAL will be verified. EMT works for me, can spilt shipping.

Selling/trading an Enfield No. 4 Mk I Sporter .303 British. Overall it's in good shape. Dated 1945,  barrel and receiver match. Steel is in good shape, shows some normal aging in the colour and finish. Wood stocks are in good shape as well with normal blemishes for its age. Forestock has tape on it around the barrel as the barrel band is loose without it. Bore is starting to darken but still has decent rifling left. Barrel is full length with original ears and bayonet lug, rear sight is original. Comes with one detachable magazine. Looking for $295 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Here you have a good too very good condition overall Lee Enfield jungle carbine. Appears to have had armoury repairs to the for Stock at one point in time. However, this rifle functions exactly how it should. Whether or not you were looking for something to collect or something to shoot you will have no issues with this rifle whatsoever. Comes with a period correct adjustable sling. The rifling is in very good condition and clean. Also has a rear elevator site. The bolt and breach seem to be mismatched. Appears to have been a restored sporter, some of the small parts are DP marked (no major parts). Stocks aren't matching, rougher finish which could be lightly refinished and smoothed out. I have a Lee Enfield #4 Mark 1 1942 Longbranch .303 British WW2 battle rifle with all matching numbers including bolt stock and reciever!. With a LB spike bayonet 1-10 round magazine and a original sling for sale. Not sporterized and not refurbished!, original WW2 configuration purchased from a seller in Quebec asking $2500 o.b.o. located in Windsor Ontario Canada. And yes it is still a tack driver!. As far as I know everything that I bought is all WW2 parts that came with this rifle and was issued, this thing was there!, where I don't know!. WW2 Canadian history!, unfortunately the Veteran/Hero who was issued this is unknown. I tried to get some info from the seller but to no avail he did not have any further information. Maybe the serial # might add some future light to this relic of a darker time in world history if researched further.
