Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). Howdy Townpost. I have here a nicely restored Cooey Model 82. I got the gun as an oil stained and sporterized target .22. It's had the stock nicely refinished in a satin urethane finish done in the fashion to mimic an old oil finished stock. The stock has a pretty nice grain pattern on the underside of it (pictured). The bore is excellent. The stock had a chunk out of it to accomodate a Lyman peep-sight and the receiver was drilled and tapped for it as well. That has all been repaired (pictured) and is hardly noticeable now. There was a hairline crack near the middle barrel band that was filled too. It probably wasn't necessary to fill especially on a .22 , but hey she's been filled. It has all the C-broad arrow markings present. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. Howdy Townpost! I've gotten my hands on some stubby steelies! These are new production Yugoslavian military patterned magazines made in Croatia. These are well made and the milling was done well too. These are all properly pinned to 5 rounds. And are nice for hunting with a shorter mag or hauling it around with a shorter and lighter mag when compared to standard a 5/30 rounder. These magazines will also work with an AK magazine coupler (I have these for sale for $20). Which for an SKS-D some plastic on the coupler must be removed first. The M10X should work with a coupler without issues the same goes for the WK-181 and modded mags in the Type-81. These can be modified to fit into a Type-81. I also have modded mags for sale which are $55 each. I am the only seller who has these Croatian 5/10's in Canada. Even the crappy Gen.1 KCI 5/10's are out of stock practically everywhere in Canada. This is a limited run, so don't miss out. The mags are $40 each. The mags will come in a plastic bag in preserving oil that can be easily cleaned up with any degreaser or simply hot water and dish soap in your kitchen sink with a quick scrub and then dried. It's a good idea too to apply a light coat of gun oil. A single drop rubbed across the entire mag is enough. These mags will fit in the SKS-D, the M10X series, and they might require some hand fitting to work in the WK-181, since Kodiak designed those things with odd magwell dimensions with PMAGS in mind. In all likelihood though, they will work out of the box for you. The magazines are located in SW Calgary and can be picked up anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide, this is of course at the buyer's expense. Shipping within my region will cost $13-15, and nationwide elsewhere is $18.89 flat rate. Howdy Townpost! I've got an Italian jewel for you to take a look at here. This is an Italian Bodeo model 1889. These guns are among my favorite antique revolvers. They are a very simple rugged and easy to maintain and repair Military revolvers with one of the coolest safety/loading systems as part of its design. These revolvers are very well designed, and feature the safety, loading/unloading system called the "Abadie System". This system was designed in Portugal, but many European late 19th century designs incorporated it. This particular example is an 1897 production by Glisenti at Brescia. Glisenti made Bodeos from 1891 to 1906. This is considered a tipo (type) A or an enlisted model. The type A had a folding trigger which was considered safer and was issued to enlisted men and the type B was the officer's model and had a trigger guard. This particular gun is considered a late model because it has an internal hammer block safety, which is dovetailed into the hand (pictured). The early model had a external hammer block safety that was prone to breakage. I've personally seen multiple antique examples with broken external hammer block safeties. So it was a good move from a design standpoint to change. The early models also were finished in the white in a similar manner to the French model 1873 Chamelot-Delvignes were. This example is of course blued like the overwhelming majority of the late models. This revolver is in excellent condition mechanically and has minimal wear overall. The grips are in excellent condition and we're refinished professionally. The chambres and bore are in excellent & minty condition as well. And the bore itself is one of the best I've ever seen on a Bodeo, with clean, sharp and shiny lands and grooves. This revolver chambres the 10.35mm Italian ordinance cartridge. This cartridge is very similar to .44 Russian but has a smaller diameter bullet (.422) and a slightly tapered chambre. I have seen these shot with .44-40 bullets that are .427 in diameter. These revolvers were loaded with smokeless from the get-go in 1890 using ballastite, a smokeless propellant. For an additional fee on top of the price I can have the chambres slightly reamed so that they will accept .44 Russian cartridges. That way you can buy an off-the-shelf ammunition without the need to hand load. However these are quite easy to hand load and source components for. This is an original U.S. military M1916 hip holster designed for the Colt M1911 or M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol, widely issued during World War II (and earlier in WWI). This is a WWII-era British military wrist compass (officially designated “Compass, Survival, Wrist Type,” Air Ministry Ref. No. 6B/2593), issued primarily to RAF aircrew (pilots and navigators) as part of escape and evasion/survival kits, but also widely used by British airborne forces, paratroopers, SAS, SOE, and commandos. Key Features •  Blackened metal case (brass or steel) with a hinged hunter-style lid containing a mirror (for signaling). •  Dry-card design (non-liquid/air-damped compass card – no fluid visible, with a floating card that settles more slowly than liquid-filled types). *Price reduction fro a quick sale* This is a High Condition 1944 BSA selected to be upgraded into a "T" pattern sniper rifle with correct "TR" marking on the left side of receiver ring. These sniper rifles were based on hand selected No. 4 rifles and saw service with Commonwealth forces during WWII and into the 1960s. In addition to the rifle's standard protected blade front sight and ladder rear, Scope is a No. 32 Mk. II OS. 1650A & mounted on a quick detach base. Scope is dated 1944 and numbered "15803"which is matched to the rifle with the same number force matched on the wrist(see photo). Cast scope base is a high quality reproduction(Roger Payne replica) and was Matched 3522 to same as on the bolt and rifle. Walnut stock with cheek piece, "S51" also stamped behind the grip indicating the rifle is a wartime conversion by famed gunmaker Holland & Holland. CONDITION: Very Good. Metal retains the vast majority of its arsenal applied finishes with some fading. Stocks show small nicks and impressions throughout as is to be expected on military issue arms. Good, strong grooves and bright bore. Scope is original and is still very clear for it age. Also included as an original green metal scope case for securing the scope. However, the numbers on this case are not matching the scope.. Barrel Length: 25 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore: .303 BSA Model: No. 4 MK 1* (T) Serial Number: D3522. Also comes with a Chest S.A. These are incredibly rare, it's in fantastic shape, shiny bore, and an original sling not a repro the bayonet lug is unmarked though and all the history is as such.  1941 duv K98k was likely captured or surrendered after WWII.Instead of being destroyed or exported immediately, it was: Inspected Possibly re-barreled or cleaned up Reissued to DDR police or military The W in starburst/shield marks it as part of the DDR’s official arms inventory.  these are incredibly uncommon, and east german stuff is highly collectable i can ship but I highly suggest getting insurance. This is a correct WW Suhler Consortium M98 rifle. It is my opinion this rifle was reworked by the German military for use in WWII given the original WWII German armorers replacement. It is in original condition with all parts visible numbers matching. No import mark is present. Triggergaurd is unnumnered however it shows an Imperial H woth crown on the magazine floorplate. The magazine follower is an original German armorer Wafdenampt stamped replacement part. Buttplate is correctly unnumbered. Rating Definition: Excellent. Rifle retains 90-95 % crisp original finish. Stock: The walnut stock is correct and serialized 4473 to the rifle in good condition with a crack on the front left side between the upper barrel band and rear barrel band. Note: Stock pictures in listing show what looks like a crack in the mid area of the buttstock however there is no evidence of this on either the pistol grip side of the buttplate side where the stock is cracked whatsoever. Additional pics can be taken to show this. I hypothesize that this is perhaps a shrinkage in the wood due to rifles age. Rifle shows typical handling marks. No evidence of sanding. Bore: Bore is good with very pronounced lands and grooves visible. Rifle shows a great crown and has a smooth chamber. Mechanically sound, the rifle is in excellent condition. The action functions as it should.
