It can be used with original 4gauge flares and also with 12gauge universal adapter for regular flares and bangers as well as with many other adapters from 12ga to many different calibers from .22cal to 9mm to 44mag blanks too. Military 26.5mm Flare Gun. Dated 1954 & compatible with a 12 gauge universal FLARES insert. Very durable all steel construction. Many adapters available but sold separately for $110 each.
