For sale is a WWII Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The receiver was manufactured in September 1943 and the rifle was later arsenal rebuilt for Korean War service with a December 1951 Springfield Armory barrel.
This is a solid, honest USGI rifle with no import marks, no reproduction parts, no pitting, and no mechanical issues. The original parkerized finish has a nice, even dark green appearance, and the USGI walnut stock is in very good condition with only minor service marks.
The bore is bright and shiny, and the muzzle gauges at 3, making this an excellent shooter as well as a collectible. It also retains the desirable WWII Springfield Type 2 Lock Bar rear sights.
