The Athabasca Farmers' Market is looking for a Market Manager!

Job Description:

• Respond to market communications in a timely fashion

• Manage vendor payments

• Oversee each market to ensure compliance

• Organize market layouts & coordinate with venues

• 12-15 hours per market week

• Attend outdoor markets every Saturday May-September & approx. 10 indoor markets per year

• Represent the market in the community

Qualifications

• A passion for local community

• Self directed & organized

• Strong communication, people & leadership skills

• Conflict management skills

• Strong computer & social media skills

• Farmers’ Market Manager Training course, or willing to complete course
